David Wilson should do this
....and most wins
That it's OK to continually beat the shit out of Wah!hoo douchebags in tweed dinner jackets named Blake Blaze. Yes, even for ten straight years.
Also that said douchebags had a countdown to said beatdowns.
I learned to be excited over 9 4-star prospects rather than 2 5-star prospects.
That and we are the only college football team in the nation to own an entire state worth of college football and have not one but two home stadiums.

I bore witness to the birth of a new phrase involving the words "pussy touchdowns."
The future of our football team (and maybe basketball too?) is bright.
Mike London still doesn't know how many timeouts he has.
When out of bourbon, double-shots of vodka helps ease the sense of loss.
yeah, that's what I thought. The danger of that happening with UCLA is far higher I suspect. I get that Foster will have created a UCLA specific game plan, but as a general question do you install a specific spy package as part of the game plan and use it sporadically to keep him honest, or do you just play your normal D and make in-game adjustments if needed?
Looking at our depth chart and this year's class-(assuming we sign everyone plus a couple more)-I was pressed to find much in the way of holes.
We could use another tight end next year.
Another crop of O-line would be awesome.
Always another RB.
Maybe a punter next year and some more LB's?
But it seems like we are looking to get some depth soon.
Hopefully the offense can more the ball and score just enough points in this game.
true story, i was in the san fransisco airport and my wife and i were texting back and forth debating whether to buy tix for the monday night techmo bowl last year. she wasnt really feeling it and had some valid points. a guy walks by me wearing a hokies united shirt. i wrote back and told her that. she responds with, 'it's a sign, we're going.' and we did. and it was awesome.
I got my Horse on a Treadmill and Decade of Dominance shirts as Christmas gifts. It was a very happy holiday, indeed. Great quality shirts - nice job, Joe!
Aren't we already restarting that series with WVU in the future? If so, no need to bring them into the conference, for reasons already stated (and some unstated).
Ultimately they switched to a spy against Maryland starting in the 3rd quarter, with mixed results. The Hokies started to limit CJ Brown using Tariq Edwards as the spy, but some plays opened up down field without the extra man in coverage. Maryland hit a couple of deep passes to open the quarter and boom, that was enough to get them to OT and ultimately the win.
French, amazing as always. The question I have had all season is why do we not use the spy when playing true dual threat QB's. the only time we specifically played it was during Pitt and it seemed to go very well. But with all the other mobile QB's we faced we never game planned for it.
Is there a reason why you think that is? or would a spy not work because of the spread offense they run?
I'd be less nervous knowing that our secondary was at full strength. I think, healthy, they can shut down the receivers well enough to allow the D-line and backers to work on contain.
Then, of course, if we had a running game to speak of to keep Hundley off of the field, then we'd be sitting pretty good.
But, it seems like our injuries may be the key to losing the game. Losing Trey, and maybe K. Fuller, etc is huge.
I guess that's why coaches get the big $.
Edit: Oh, and thanks French for your analyses. Your columns are like crack.

Man, not only do I feel great about the talent level coming in, but I love the character of the players we've picked up. I really feel great about our direction. Leaders on the field, role models off. Ford, Keihn, Reavis, Burke...what a great group of young men. The sun is starting to rise, Hokie Nation!
Did you notice the DT rankings? Can you imagine pulling in Settle, Tuttle, AND McLean? They are all listed as the #1 at their position in their respective states. If they can pull that off (or even 2 of the 3) coupled with Walker and (hopefully) Nnadi that's as talented a 2 deep at DT that you can get.
Hopefully with all the time we've had to prepare, Bud can shut down that option stuff. With how we've handled mobile QBs all year, I'm a bit worried.
Great post. Thx for the hard work and for sharing! It's hard to believe that so few bball players go on to play professionally. The numbers confirm that as much as we want our bball team to break through and have national relevance, it is very difficult to compete at a high level with average recruits. It pains me to see what "could have been" with the Currys, Harrell at Louisville, Doh-Doh at UF and some of the other big fish we missed out on or retaining. JJ has his work cut out for him: build success with 3-star recruits, establish a competitive, consistent system, and the chips will begin to fall. Sounds like a familiar recipe; but he has to start somewhere, and he has to bring in deeper talent in the future to compete with the upper echelons.
I think I can watch this all day. Its...mesmerizing....
Thanks for posting this. He's been through a lot but has a great head on his shoulders and is focused.
Foster + Focus & Determination = Winner
Bruce Arian took over the Colts last season when Pagano was sick... he won AP COTY too. He's HC of the cardinals now...might be tougher to unsuck them. Surprised he's not mentioned more often here. He 's an alum and started his career here in '75 ...yhe again Hoda's a Hokie too.... GOHOKIES!
SF is more a typical cty with all walks of life. There are sections like the Castro, which lets say.. have a smaller concentration of sports bars. YOU! are likely to get more attention wearing a UVA jersey....as in "HEY-what team is that!??"...GO HOKIES!!!

plz no more rbs the depth chart is making my head hurt
