Scrap the search for bbq in MD and have a crab cake. When in Rome...
Awesome write up.
Mixed bag of feelings...
-How does the backup look, and what will this do to our game plan?
-I personally did not like the kid at all. Can't say I will miss him or his tats.
-But Horse is right, I wish the kid well and hope he can get his shit together.
that would be awesome
There are actually two versions of the Orange helmet.
The Orange Bowl helmet had helmet stripes that went maroon-white-maroon:

They also had regular season ones that were white-maroon-white (which matched the striping on the orange pants):

Honestly, I have wondered all year why Ludwig hasn't been given a chance at place kicking. Saw him play at Abingdon and remember him kicking a couple of 40-plus yarders with ease.
I thought he was talking about the girl...
I think the situations are slightly different this time. In 2010 Tyrod was out because he was slow getting up and the coaches wanted to make sure he wasn't injured. Logan would have had to come out this past weekend because his Helmet came off, but there was no indication that he suffered any injury on the play.
Also some other things to remember are that the receivers, rbs, and line were different and it was a lot earlier in the game. Focusing specifically on the receivers, Coale and Boykin were already well into their "catch anything that's within reach" phase, whereas our current receivers either aren't there yet or some of them are just getting into it.
A few players had Hokie Stone helmets on. Some guys like to wear the gameweek helmet in practice. #Hokies breaking them out again Saturday?— Andy Bitter (@AndyBitterVT) November 12, 2013
Looks like it will be the hokie stone helmets again.
1 2 3 Fail 4 made me laugh out loud
So did effort #30.
I can't decide whether I like second star to charlotte or sam rogers push up better. But those two are classics.
Thanks for this, everyone
This one is ridiculously clever. Well in, Griffer.
i think it's just the reflection. they have that same combination in merriman near the coaches office. it was like that at the spring game
what happens when the ball pops and only half of it goes through the uprights? I guess your right.
Let me guess..."Violation of team rules. That's all we'll have to say about it"?
I've not been a fan of his off-the-field issues in the past, but honestly I think he's had enough chances. On the field, most of the time, he's done well for us. Let's hope that whatever troubles he's having, he can get past them.
Best of luck, Cody.
i would say no, but .. probably.
If you're alright with selling 2 of them, I'll take em.
I have 4 side-by-side season tickets I can sell you for $25 each if you want them. Section 13, Row PPP. Let me know if you are still interested.
every time he kicks a field goal the ball pops and he would rip a whole in the net and could potentially injure spectators. VT has determined it's in the best interest of everybody to keep SR from kicking field goals, unfortunately. He's reportedly 100% in practice. No one has ever seen him miss a FG.
Great.
As long as we go for 2 every time we score, we'll be ok, as long as we have a 50%+ conversion rate. (Oh yeah . . . and . . . does sam rogers kick field goals?)
YES!!!! Fat guy 2pt. conversions!...
Hm. Well. That happened.

Yes, yes he was. Poor timing by marketing Dept.
