I'm ordering wings and pizza from wings over Washington. Cooking up some crab and cheese dip (the one in the VT Hokie recipe book). And giddy about all the pumpkin, cider, and Belgian beers that are waiting for me.
I went the lazy route - Chinese food en route.

When I think under the radar, I always think Engelberger. That guy was badass. Media hated him cause he would only talk about fishing. But it's kids like that that built VT.

I remember when I was a freshman and when I was home for break, people asked if I was on the team. Thought they were crazy, at 6' and 190, I was way too small, haha.

I like our guys and I like the way we play. I freakin love Sam Rogers. I love Jack Tyler. I loved Cody Grimm. Who else belongs on this list? I love those under the radar guys and our experience as fans would be lacking without great stories like them.

To be certain, I get disheartened when we lose out on guys like Brandon Lee to Mizzou and maybe I shouldn't.....but I beam with belief that VT has earned a reputation that should make young kids drool to play for a great football program like Virginia Tech. Loeffler and Grimes have already shown that they can bring in great guys like Ford and FIVE olinemen. Gotta keep the train rolling.

I actually have one of those, I love wearing it because you hardly ever see them. I lucked out and found it at the goodwill in Blacksburg my freshman year which would have been '09-'10.
