You seem adverse to greatness. People are frustrated I think because they believe we are capable of legitimately competing against anyone in the country but understand that some shit need to change. It seems we have completely disregarded accountability. Anyone who gives up 8 turnovers in two games needs to be checked; whether it is for a series or a game or the rest of the season I think the next man up should get a crack when the 1st man is hurting us that much. I mean is it because he is Logan Thomas? If a RS senior WR has 8 drops in 2weeks or ur RB has 8 fumbles in two weeks does he still get this pass? I'm so confused right now. Like every other D1 athlete at a major program, LT3 came here to compete. That competition should never stop, especially when ur fucking up. And who knows maybe a little heat might be the motivation he needs to get his shit together.
On the coaching changes:
Most coordinators continue to coach a position and it isn't completely unheard of for a head coach to coach a position though its usually QBs. Bud coaches LBs as our D-Coordinator, so if Gray becomes D-Coordinator, I would think that he continues coaching DBs as well.
I think Shane to Special teams Coordinator would be good
We would only have one coaching spot come open assuming that no one else leaves when CFB retires. I think Shane would be more helpful on the defensive side than he currently is on offense, most of his pre-VT position coach experience was working with DBs and LBs afterall. But if we can bring in a better coach on the D-Side than the O-side, I wouldn't be too upset with leaving him as the RB coach.
Tyrod...3rd & 31 vs FSU...beautiful. Not saying I disagree with you, that was just one long distance situation I can think of.
Yeah, this doesn't need to be posted on every thread. That's spam. Please stop doing that.
Phillips starts right away. Harrison is a bit more raw, but gives you that deep threat. He will immediately be the kickoff return guy if he wants to.
Walker and if Nnadi signs, Nnadi will both have an opportunity to get into the two deep at defensive tackle. Williams will likely take Derrick Hopkins place. Marshall will be at end. And it appears that Harley has a ways to go to get back into the good graces of the staff. Baron is awful lonely there right now.
I would think if Holland Fisher qualifies then he'll be in the mix, especially if he can enroll in January. I could see him seizing the back up job at Rover if he qualifies and starting if KJ34 goes pro early. He could also be in the conversation for the back up spot at Whip.
Also Nnadi and Walker on the D-Line with Skip graduating this year.

Sorry, Rocket. "You" in my comment was the metaphorical, collective "you" that comprises all of the Hokies' opponents.
Your future house, future food, and future wife are safe...unless you plan on inviting me over. (Giggidy!)
Seems like Edmunds is the outside bounce option, but his feet are heavy.
I love the kid and will always have burned into my mind his 76 yarder against Alabama, but he also seems to trip over his own feet a lot.

Recruiting WR- you mean like the injured walk-on (Byrn), who was replaced by the INJURED WALK-ON (Meyer)!
Its changing- Cam Phillips, Kendrick Holland, and Jaylen Bradshaw are all it seems very high level WR's who I don't think we get without Morehead.
Haha this was my reaction too. Thanks, joe

# | Bitter blog - Beamer on Logan Thomas: ‘There is no question in our mind that he’s the guy’ Agreed, I was thinking as I was reading, "Man, I wonder how Leal is taking this. Those comments are sort of a condemnation"
Oh man, if someone has the altered version of this picture with all the other people pointing and laughing if give them all the turkey legs
391 yds total offense ...

Great post sir! Really puts everything into perspective and why LT's play can feel so frustrating at times. It's not so much that he's making mistakes, but when and where.
Somewhere, Beamer is saying "It's never as bad as it seems..."

Yeah, CJ's Looooooong FG.
That's why Beamer has stuck with him. Man, that was nice, high from the start and right in there. He could have kicked a 60 yarder.
haha, it's all good
Haha - I just saw that too. Turkey leg for you, sir, for the find.
got you covered
Deathrow, I accidentally fat fingered it and down voted you. Sincerest apologies.
ACC network?? :(
Another game I won't be able to catch...

"but...that's 3 bad plays. The other 2 turnovers weren't his fault. So take those 3 bad plays and contrast that with how many good plays he made on Saturday....there were a LOT of good plays on offense."
Other than that, how was the play, Mrs. Lincoln?
