Bleacher Report is a joke. Just shows you can get paid for writing about football without even having to watch it. Get this guy a job at ESPN.
It's commentators like Barry (or Barry from Ivy, whichever he seem to prefer, who is a Georgia Tech fan) and Booster (UVa fan and extreme idiot) among others who just enjoy coming to the site and just making an ass of themselves. Also, there's a Hokies fan who goes by the name crooked road who seem to hold a major grudge against the Beamers and absolutely refuses to listen to anybody who counter his points. McFarling blog is pretty fun to hang out because McFarling lets conversation flows and more levelheaded fans are there. Occasionally, there would be kerflunke, but majority of the time, the conversation are enlightening.
Anyway, with how much ignorant fans are there (which include some Hokie fans who still think Thomas should move back to tight end, etc, etc), and trolls, I have quit going to his RT's blog and visiting the Hampton Road one because of how quiet it is.
Gotta love vtphreak - always does quality work.
What a joke.
MFW:

Aren't there supposed to be editors that would, say, not allow garbage like this to go through?
I believe they did something similar for Military Appreciation Day last year, too.
They're eating him alive in the comments haha.
No shit, I was legit offended by that statement.
Another view

It's small but you can kind of see it:

I believe it was alot like the logo that the VT Tubas use but it said Hokies under the extended T instead of Tubas
It's funny, two games into the season, and what I've seen is hands down better than most of the years I witnessed during Stinespring/O'Cain era. Execution has been sub-par, but the play calling and play design has been pretty great.

Reminds me of a visit I took to UVA med school when I was at Tech.
The enrollment officer was speaking to a large auditorium of prospective applicants from various universities in the state. He was asked if there was any favoritism towards uva grads in acceptance to medical school at uva.
He replied 'Certainly not. All applicants are weighted in light of their undergraduate achievements.'
He later showed a slide of the previous accepted class and their undergraduate schools. It was comprised of about 50% uva grads and then a smattering of other varied schools.
The audience was puzzled and one student raised their hand and asked 'I thought you said that there was no favoritism towards uva grads?'
He replied (in all seriousness) 'No, I said each applicant was weighted towards academic performance, and the committee understands that a uva undergrad degree is more difficult to obtain than that at other schools.......'
He was promptly laughed at and booed by the students in attendance.
If they're doing it as leverage, Sullivan has an awful poker face.
Agree.
The faculty, hospital in Charlottesville is excellent.
But props to outlying facility that recognized the need for transfer.
I was unfortunately not a fan back then. Do you have a picture or can you describe it?
People on facebook are the worst. Go to any VT fan page and you'll see. From the VTHokieFans page:
Tech needs a coach with fire in his belly and will have Techs players playing like their hair is on fire and to hire a coordinator from a 3 and 9 Auburn team and expect a big change is nuts! It still looks like Stinespring is calling the plays! Skip Holtz would be a great choice plus he beat one of Beamers famous "10 WIN" teams with ECU and why do you think we always get our buts handed to us in bowl games unless its a big east team because we consistently play weak schedule and next year playing William and Mary and winning is worse than losing to an Alabama!
I guess he didn't know we were playing OSU.

I HATE when we get our buts handed to us. It's just the worst. Also we actually hired 2 assistants from that 3-9 Auburn team. He clearly doesn't read TKP or he'd realize the play calling, game plan, OL, and just general offensive concept is head and shoulders above the O'Cainspring era.
With the Under Armour money, they were looking to do something along these lines, or possibly different striping every 10 yards. Would prefer to see the old school big M with the turtle leaning on it holding the flag at center field though...
Without getting into it much, I wholeheartedly agree.

Yes. This.
