Maybe I'm spoiled from watching Dozer & MStrawther's opus, but between the poor jokes and typos, these videos are just underwhelming.
I don't think we lost out on some recruits because of our facilities. Have you seen the locker room? It's pretty freaking nice. We're losing out on recruits (in my opinion) because Mike London is just a better recruiter, even if he is lying about playing time and making promises he can't fulfill. I also don't think this program is in the middle of the pack in the ACC in terms of facilities. Most ACC teams are basketball schools or some other sport not called football. It's not a priority. FSU and Clemson would probably rival us in terms of facilities, however I've never seen those facilities.
Who downvoted that? Y'all need to chill with the downvote button. Don't downvote because you don't agree. This ain't reddit.
I know I am going to get ripped for saying this but this "compromise" is complete crap! Our fan-base wants to join the SEC, yet we cant cut down a couple of trees in order to build a practice facility we desperately need. Currently we are middle of the pack in the ACC, not the sec, THE ACC when it comes to facilities. We say we want to win national titles, but can we make that commitment? In order to win ACC titles, let alone National Titles, we have to own the State of Virginia when it comes to recruiting. This was supposed to be our year with the talent in the state, but because of our terrible facilities and poor NFL track record, Virginia got raided by Ohio State, Michigan, etc. Heck UVA is kicking our tail in the 757. As a football program, we have come to a crossroads, especially since in three years we will have a new President, AD and probably a Head Coach (Frank isnt gonna coach forever). It is time to put up or shut up.
I understand the passion for the sport, I love tech football a lot, however those trees have been there 250 years longer then Hokie Football has. I am in favor of showing some respect for the trees. It is a classy move to protect them and I like it. Not only that I love walking through those woods to get to the stadium its a nice little spot back there.
haha, time for a hot streak!
It's going to depend on the records of the teams we beat..beating undefeated ECU or Marshal just won't get it done. Throw an undefeated GT team on a Thursday night might just break us in if others lose and don't pull upsets.
They won't even know what hit them.
Watched most of the game..looked like last years Hokie offense in the last 3games.
I'm a solid 4-2 for the second week in a row! Much better than last year's ugly four consecutive 3-3 weeks. So far, so good.
Beat me to it..heard the same on espn radio today after work.
I had front row tickets for the UVA vs. Miami game last year..my buddy is a Canes fan and the fans were far from civil. We had the cops called on us by fans too. Also that dumb bitch on the OL 78 walked over and cussed us out. One of the coaches grabbed him while laughing at us..this was right after the last minute score to take the lead. Even the cops are dickheads..I got yelled at by one of those walking back after the game for what he thought was me disobeying his get back on the sidewalk command. Fans are very weak though, not much tailgating, drinking, music, or loudness. It seems more like a social gathering then a football game. I'd expect 5,000 Hokie fans would be able to kick the asses of 50,000 LOLUVA fans pretty easily. Oh, and the parking lot had no alcohol signs everywhere..really?
Great win by the Eagles. It was a run away until they took their foot off the peddle. It also looked like prevent defense for most of the 4th quarter.
After reading and hearing all the coaches comments..it didn't seem like Teller was ready to play this season on offense or defense. I'm good to go with their best judgement on that topic. They work in the coaching profession and I don't.
At first I read your first sentence as
A few years ago my EAGLE
Suffice it to say I thought you were a total badass.

oh wait, that was me when the Rangers beat the Capitals in the playoffs.
The benefits of an indoor training facility...

Michael Vick, is, was, and will forever be the most exciting player to play the game of football.
OK Josh Morgan, time to redeem yourself (different team, but whatevs)
Thanks for posting this.
In honor of option #7 in this powerpoint, I move that we christen the new building the 'Inert Debris Indoor Training Facility.'
Check it out. Dustin Hoffman, 'Rain Man,' look retarded, act retarded, not retarded. Counted toothpicks, cheated cards. Autistic, sho'. Not retarded. You know Tom Hanks, 'Forrest Gump.' Slow, yes. Retarded, maybe. Braces on his legs. But he charmed the pants off Nixon and won a ping-pong competition. That ain't retarded. Peter Sellers, "Being There." Infantile, yes. Retarded, no. You went full retard, man. Never go full retard. You don't buy that? Ask Sean Penn, 2001, "I Am Sam." Remember? Went full retard, went home empty handed...
I shall hang my head in shame for the remainder of the week and will come back next week and actually include a beer in my selection. I was at least batting 500 when I included a beer
that's why I stuck to the mile. 8 laps. still sucked.
I think you just did.

Those two dance during the game and it gets more cheers then LOLUVA football team during the game.
