The issue I'm seeing with that "second group" that will wait until Logan proves himself, is that I doubt he'll ever do enough to keep them happy. Even if he did complete 62% of his passes, people will be calling for his head assuming Leal can complete 70%+. Also, I don't get using last year as such a strong argument for hating on Logan this year. Yes, last year was a disaster in every way possible for just about the entire team (I'd say Jack Tyler might be the only thing close to an exception). Different year, different (BETTER) coaches, different system. The improvement is easy to see already. No balls 15 yards overthrown (yes, he overthrew Knowles by a couple steps, which is exactly where you want to miss on a guy like that with that coverage. Every QB has throws he wants back), no balls thrown three yards wide, etc. I'm looking for LT3 (and his supporting cast) to silence a few doubters today, but the fact remains that some people will always assume that Thomas = Glennon and Leal = Senior Tyrod.
As an econ major, I'm thrilled we're having this conversation. And I would argue that gameday tickets are relatively elastic. Yes, us Hokies are hardcore fans, but I would still make the case that we would react to some degree to a change in the price of tickets. Unless you all did some study in class that I'm missing

I haven't had to try it this year, but last year whenever I was visiting my in-laws and had to miss a game that was broadcast on TV, I would often run into the problem of the game being blacked out in my area. I'm assuming it was because I was using an account registered in an area where it was being broadcast. I was able to get around the problem by going into the gamecast and clicking the watch live button, for some reason it didn't do the check to see if the game should be blacked out from there.
