What happened to wanting to watch Virginia Tech play and not the opponent? I'd love to be able to see all the games but I can't go due to work. Yeah, i go to the bigger games but I remember when we didn't win allot. I agree though that the ticket price should be lower for FCS teams but that would mean a higher price for the FSU's and Clemson games.

Yeah the article mentions a lot of things we did well. Basically said we game-planned perfectly to beat Bama and showed everyone else how it's done, but just didn't have the talent in the end to execute everything perfectly (mostly on offense) and pull it off.
Kids today are also all about instant gratification and nutty expectations. I remember at the Cinncy game some chic mentioning that every opponent pass, she expects an int.
I don't think brown will be able to do this at the next level. He is just physically above his competition. Bradshaw looks great though. He is racking up the stats, glad his coach said VT was his dream school. Nice to hear.

Brown is clearly a physical specimen with his size and speed, but on a lot of snaps he isn't even touched. I am not sure if this is a product of him timing the snap well or the opposing team just having a bad offensive line. When the OL does engage him it seems he chooses to just use his size to muscle his way through the line. He doesn't appear to use his hands a lot. He will need to do this at the next level and the game is going to get much tougher in general, so I am interested to see how he adapts. That being said, I haven't seen a lot of film on the kid outside of tonight.
Does anyone else watching the game think these announcers are obnoxiously pro-UVA and TimeCop? They act as if UVA has actually done something in the last 10 years.
I'd like to see 10 sacks, 5 forced turnovers, 3 none offensive touchdowns, 300 yards rushing, 250 yards passing, 75% completion percentage, no Hokie turnovers, and one block kick to restore the old ball coaches confidence in himself..I think that is very important. We can't have Beamer doubting himself.

im actually not impressed with even though ive only seen a couple minutes of brown play. the game is sloppy, and brown looks good.. but it seems that he is just timing the snap every time.

Market economics, what's wrong with that? Probably lots of things, from the University's point of view, but paying the same for WCU versus Miami, Clemson, FSU or a big name OOC opponent does not make sense in a free market. Sorry, Business major probably overthinking here.
