Love the Varsity Blues and The Program reference. By the way, six degrees of Caan. James and his son Scott both played prominent roles in those two fine flicks.

This post was obviously directed at me to an extent and I just want to make myself clear, I was never calling for Logan to be benched. All my comments were merely trying to talk some sense into people who still use the word "potential" with a guy who is in his 3rd year as a starting college QB. Just something to keep in mind, not many QB's who start >3 years in college improve dramatically in their last season. Something else to keep in mind, knowledgeable, impartial fans who watched our game last Saturday probably wouldn't have too many nice things to say about Logan's performance. Not trying to start shit; just stating what the majority of non-Hokie fans are thinking.

The argument about LT being benched if Leal outperforms him in practice is so laughable. Do you REALLY think that a softy like Frank Beamer would bench his 3rd year starter in favor of a player who has never gotten meaningful snaps? We're sitting around patting ourselves on the back for how intelligent the TKP community is and people still believe that. Too funny. Logan could show up to practice and proclaim that he is now going to start throwing left handed and Beamer would still start him come Saturday. You know who might not ever have gotten shots in the NFL if it weren't for injuries? Kurt Warner. Tom Brady. I am in no way comparing Leal to them, but those guys, especially Warner, got no love at all until they were forced to start.

I don't expect a repeat of this, but the reason that people were calling for Leal at the end of last year is because we had nothing to lose. While he could (and probably would have been) just as average as Logan, he at least offered some hope. What's happening now is that the fans who were calling for Logan to go at the end of last season are now split into two groups: those that pressed the reset button, and those that didn't. The former, like myself, are going to wait and see how he does before getting rowdy. The latter, though, are going to call for Leal until Logan proves himself. And those people are well in their right to do that since it's been over a season since Logan played well.

He was much more effective than Bobby Collins, but Bobby Collins is good enough to get us a split in the next two games to get us to a bowl.

DON'T THROW THE FLAT!

Piilonen was great. He did a guest lecture in my 2205 class (I took non-majors), and it was the only one all semester that made me feel like I learned something. I definitely liked second semester the best, though. The electricity labs were so easy, though I guess it helps that my dad was an electrical/computer engineer so I had been doing that kind of stuff most of my life...

Yes, you can get it via Xbox Live. Unfortunately, not through smart TVs though. We have to hook up the lap top to the tv.

Quick Facts about Tebow:

He worked one year with Loeffler, his SR year in 2009.

His QB ratings (with national rank):
2007 - 172.5 (2nd)
2008 - 172.4 (4th)
2009 - 164.2 (1st)

For those interested, Tyrod had a QB rating of 149.39 in 2009, good for 10th in the country.

No offense to Western Carolina, but why did we give them 4300 seats? According to my research, that's tickets for over half over their student body.

We think that we can pick it up on the husband's Xbox Live account. He's been able to get other games.

I loved 2306. Electricity, magnetism, and waves. Had Prof Piilonen (spelling?) for that class, got an A+.

Yeah, Nebraska must have had empty seat at times, but it is still pretty cool that they can say they sold out that many times in a row, what, like a million or so?

Also, it is great to have a packed stadium for recruiting, but I doubt we're pulling out all the stops and bringing in all the 5*s for the WCU game

5) Running game 200 plus yards total by end of the game (RB's only) Not counting the L Train.

According to Andy Bitter, "The Catamounts gave up 329.4 yards per game on the ground, second worst in the FCS to Idaho State."

200 yds would be approximately 100 yds less than average. Perhaps, you're assuming LT3 will get 130 yds rushing...

Check with your local Hokie Club to see if they meet to watch games. Typically the bar/restaurant will be able to stream the ESPN3 broadcast. I watch the away games with the Raleigh Hokie Club and if we're on ESPN3, they'll put it up on the big screen.

I see it! A very large, bearded Robin Williams!

God I wish these posts were around back when we played good ol App. State.
HOT HOT HOT!!

I don't think that boosters have been purchasing unsold tickets...that doesn't really make sense. Although it's disappointing that our streak is ending I think we have more important things to worry about, like football. Let's not forget that we're 0-1 right now and that's a whole 10 wins away from another 10 win season. Let's hope our team just grabs their lunch pail and gets to work. The players shouldn't be worried about how many empty seats are in Lane.

I'm going because I need to get into Lane and scream at the top of my lungs while I watch our Hokies beat WCU's qb to death with his own linemen. It's literally a need.
