The spread keeps rising so I don't really have a choice. Saying VTs offense is a shit-show is going lightly on them. If our D doesn't score more points than our O, we will be in deep, deep trouble. LT will have no one to protect him, no one to run the ball and no one to catch the ball. Otherwise we are fine. This is Bama, this is Pawwwwwwlllll. They are #1 and we are #goacc. Sadly I saw on the TV that Alabama has arrived, so the dream of them getting stuck in traffic is crushed. I suck at picking games but even if VT covers, we will not win.
Clemson
A home dog. It is too early for Clemson to pull a clemson just yet. Also, I almost always pick the team that BCO includes a picture of their cheerleaders and no better way to start the season than doing this. Also, this is such a toss up b/c you know one of these teams will not be in the top 10 when the season ends.
LSU
LSU doesn't lose these games. Also, no one is talking about LSU. Another big surprise is they have a player that is has done something wrong but will play. #gosec? TCU is now in the Big12(8). LSU's second team would win the Big12(8). What scares me is that LSU now claims they have a passing game. I will only believe that when I see it but I think they have enough to win.
Boise St
UDub has a shiny new stadium that looks pretty much exactly as it did before. New stadium or not, they will not beat Boise. The Boise crowd is here in full. I live about a mile from the stadium and I saw at least 6 Boise fans at bar tonight. I saw no UDub fans. Sadly I think the few UDub fans that do go to the game will not be happy with the outcome.
BCO, please come to a game at UDub. I am sure there is plenty of beer here for you. I have been to a game there and it is a great stadium with the water and mountains. I only wish it was the Hokies I could see play there.

This is really where men and boys are separated. When I went to WVU they found Pat White because Bednarik was hurt. Then, Steve Slayton, a third string RB came from nowhere and there you have the most dynamic Big East offense maybe ever.

Semi-off topic: I had to do a double take this past week. I passed a wahoo in the local Kroger, and he had on some blue and orange gear, but on the back of his shirt was a picture of cavman's hat, complete with feather, and underneath it said (I am not making this up) "Decade of Excellence". (obviously my reaction was "?????!!!!") I didn't see the front to know what the shirt was referring to, but there's no way it was referring to football.

True. No surprise though, he was going to be extremely limited. I would take a healthy Mangus over an extremely banged up Coleman, anyway. I think that he should be close to 100% by ACC play, however.

When two great programs get together you never know. I'm just excited to go see the game. Of course I really want my team to win big but I don't think espn and the others are giving you guys enough credit. Vt is a solid program. Some issues to start off with but still very capable. I think it will be a hell of a game!
