Can you tell yet what they are going to do on the back. Either pictures like the renderings or go back to a big "HOKIES"?

Why not two or three? Not sure I follow what your getting at. The point I was trying to make is that Alabama can't continue to win at such a high level. I have a feeling that they will be slightly down this season and will most likely lose enough games to not make the title game. Which is to say that they are very beatable..and Virginia Tech stands a great chance of winning the game. Who do you have going to the BCS title game anyway?

but does Bama have the pounder like Lacy to wear us down?

yup http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uf2ARNqHNCA That man among boys is 5-star T-Frosh Derrick Henry. That's not mentioning Dee Hart, Jalston Fowler or Kenyon Drake.

I agree that this team has weaknesses, but let's not kid ourselves into thinking that there's any aspect of the game that they're actually bad at, just some where they're less dominant than they have been in the past.

Why do they have to lose 2? Unless you're trying to imply that a 12-1 Bama team is guaranteed to go to the MNCG, at which point they'll suffer their 2nd loss of the season to an unheralded team from southwest VA, in which case I understand but disagree. There are a handful of teams that I expect to see one of which going unbeaten and getting taken in front of any 1-loss team.

I drove by the stadium today and the back paneling is probably 95% complete now.

Real glad to see little wang there at the center position. Kid is the whole package and has worked his butt off to overcome his injuries and earn the keystone spot

By his adjusted standings, we should have went 11-2 last year. So I will take a return to that "normal" ..... With an improvement next year on top of that!

Yeah, I know Holly Anderson is one of the "cool kids" in the CFB blogosphere and that discerning CFB fans simply must read Grantland - what with their footnotes and all - but that was two minutes I'll never get back.

One of the best lessons in my life was during Organic Chem lab, when the TA told us, "Do not be afraid of chemicals. Have respect for them. When you are afraid, you make mistakes with dangerous consequences, but when you understand and respect what you are up against, you won't have any problems." I feel like that same lesson is applicable here. We may not be referring to consequences (serious burns, blindness, and suffocating fumes), but I think it still works!
