The new era of Virginia Tech football is exciting. We are now an SEC team, and have the corps to prove it.

Will we win? Maybe not. But Reese is right. 2014 might very well be something special.

I walked through the tunnel a few weeks ago...it was great they have plaques for each senior class with all their names on them dating back to I believe 1990 so the players on their way out can see who came before them...it was a blast. Gates were open I assumed because the work crews needed to get in and out with the construction going on inside the gates there I came during dusk though and they had gone home for the day...

I couldn't agree more. It's so easy to get excited about the upcoming season with all the changes that have been made, but I didn't expect us to jump right back to winning ten games a season (but believe you me, I'd be estatic if we did) While the new coaches are on the right track as far as recruiting goes, I think they're setting us up for some STRONG teams in the future (I'm talking 2014-2015) ...but here's hoping for the best anyway!!
I didn't think I'd like it at first looking at the rendering, but after the progress they made, I think it actually is gonna look pretty sweet.
Virginia Tech will most likely wear Maroon in the game despite Bama being the home team. I've noticed that Bama prefers to wear their away whites in big games even when they are the designated home team (2012 SEC Ship, 2013 BCSNCG).
