The Big-12 plays a round robin every year, so Texas and Ok. St. will definitely play each other.

I do agree that 15 for Texas feels right from my point of view.

Jim Druckenmiller... that is all.

BACK to Kam. The dude is pure class, will knock you out if you don't see him coming as you cross the middle of the field... and took WAY too much flack picking up the slack because of some poor support in the secondary that he couldn't control during his tenure on defense.

okie state finishes 8-5 (one game better than us) and comes in at 14th? i dont know much about whats going on in stillwater this offseason so i guess i'm missing something.

Love that you included that hit Brandon Flowers put on the Kent State dude. That is still one of the baddest-assiest totally legal hits I've ever seen in person.

I completely agree. I absolutely hate Tennessee. Ive been to a couple Alabama UT games in Neyland Stadium with my dad when I was in high school and their fans are the absolute worst. Nothing like being 17 years old and getting beer poured on you on a cold October night because Bama smacked Tennessee. I want to see Tennessee lose every game they play... and that orange color they have just reminds me of puke.

That was freggin' awesome! I'm so pumped for this year now. What's the most amazing, is you made me feel better about last year.

Excuse me for a few minutes, while I fix my drywall and change my shorts.

Whatever was the story with those dudes closing shop -I made it a point to hit their site every Friday at 3:00pm during the season to get my head straight for Saturday...

Football comes back, I turn 21, my brother will join me in Blacksburg, all my friends come back and WE'LL BEAT BAMA.

It's gonna be an epic month. Thanks to dozer and strawther for getting it started.

Agree. Here is another tidbit from their site:

Tailgate Fever
Youve had Tailgate Fever before you just didnt know it. Tailgate Fever is what wakes you up at 7:45 on game day even though you usually sleep until 11:00. Tailgate Fever makes you scream like a moron for no apparent reason. It causes you to buy gloves that say Hokies on them and to want the back-up QB to start just because you are sick of the D-word. Tailgate Fever can cause you to argue for hours that the 1-2-2 is the answer to the basketball teams problems. It makes you fly flags, paint your face, or pour that final bourbon and coke when the last call cannon is fired. Tailgate Fever makes you go to games when you are 2-8-1.well, it makes you go to tailgates when youre 2-8-1. Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror dressed head to toe in burnt orange? It isnt pretty is it? You have Tailgate Fever. Have you ever been pumped for the Akron game? Tailgate Fever. A football game is an event, but a tailgate is an experience, and whether this years team is 10-1 or 1-10, it looks like another fine tailgating season in Blacksburg. Youve probably got it right now. That quickening of your pulse, that desire to jump up and down, thats Tailgate Fever running through your veins. Weve told you this before; we are telling you again.Tailgate Fever is sweeping the nation.

Truth. What a guy would do to follow a hot girl

What does his virginity (or lack there of) have to do with him being a hokie? If he really loves Tech, and he can be a contributor on to the team, I hope he chooses us.

Edit: After a second read I realize that I might have overlooked some sarcasm? Whoops

thats life in the sec. at least they have the balls to schedule a big time ooc like oregon.

I agree. You have to cheer louder and harder and earlier during the huddle when your team is struggling. Though I never sat other than for halftime. You can sit when you graduate+30 years.

A weak schedule doesn't mean you should be rated higher. I see it all the time and it drives me nuts - people rank teams based upon where they think they'll finish, not how good they think they are, hence Texas, Ohio St, and Louisville rising up higher than they ought to initially, then hanging around up there because their SOS sucks. If a team's sched is a cakewalk, they'll get up the rankings simply by being undefeated (a la Boise St). No need to give them a head start.

I'm honestly pretty happy we aren't in the top 25. It motivates the team more, and now nobody can say that we are overrated.

I thought we might do that when we played USC back in 2004 but it didn't happen. Tough to bump anyone in after a loss, no matter how well you play.

Question, if on the off chance we do in fact lose to Bama, in a very close game, do we become the first team to jump into the top 25 after a loss?
