To me, the most exciting relevation is James Gayle coming in lighter this year. As I noted several times following the fall camp scrimmages, he looked too heavy, and he noted that as he cut weight during the season, his play improved. I think it benefits the Hokies to better utilize Gayle as a natural pass rusher instead of using him as a decoy to create lanes for Tyler (who is an outstanding blitzer) and Edwards (who is really a better coverage linebacker.) Unlike 2009, where Greg McElroy, who was starting his first game, Alabama brings back an experienced QB in McCarron. Foster can't get away with selling out on the blitz, but bringing Gayle off the edge and using some creative stunts with the other linemen and Tyler while playing robber behind the stunt can get McCarron to throw some picks. I guarentee you will see Cooper bracketed as much as possible.

Ran into his dad at VT's camp today. He said Bucky is 6-6, maybe 6-7. Bucky was there too. Looked about the same height as Logan.

I'm sure if a Glennon fumbled through a comment about tech, it would have been intercepted by this site and we'd know.

Plus he's Sean's dad which automatically gives him 1 strike...

I don't practice Santamaria
I ain't got no crystal ball
But if you put him on the football field, he'll...
He'll kick the ball

Sean Glennons dad is not a football coach - I wouldn't care about his opinion.

I'm glad to see we're recruiting strong players for special teams. This kid looks strong already and he's got a ton of potential. Welcome to Hokie Nation, Michael!

Watched some highlights on another site (I think through Bitter's twitter)....he booted several 40+ yd field goals, and if my eyes weren't deceiving me, I think it said "off the ground kicking" at the start of the video....for high school, this is a little unusual, since many high school leagues allow kickers to use a block. Kickoffs (from the 40) were routinely going to the goal line or into the end zone. Get him into the strength program, he'll be booting them out of the end zone for us and putting up 50 yd field goals (which I sincerely hope we never have to utilize, with the new offense).

We also play Ohio state that year, just something fun to think about

Tried to find ratings on the big 4, and nothing. Saw that he is buds with the #2 long snapper Alan Lucy, also no big 4 ratings...

Edited, it was late and I was tired. Plus there is a Keith Sweat billboard near my house for an upcoming concert.

Minor has a rush of predictions for VT. He may be committing this weekend.

Jay Payton tweeted that he is rapping with JC about becoming a hokie. He is also hitting camp this weekend. I think he may be in too. He was also giving some love to Dwight Vick. Jay is rolling with a few boys too.

Jawanza Adams will be there, if VT offers, I think he is a lock. Has an offer from Clemson and is from SC.

Edit: shai Mckenzie will be there too. Though he has FSU as his leader, so it would be major.

Not sure if Josh Sweat will be there, but he has hit up VT camp previously.

My guess is Teller sticks at end, although I wouldn't be surprised if the coaches try to stick him inside at DT situationally.

I loved the view from the north endzone my sophomore year, but I agree with the rest of your points. Fans are much more dedicated and loud in the East Stands (however the entire student section could use some work honestly) and it's way easier to drink. My seats from a visual perspective in East sucked though. Zero depth perception if your stuck in the corner as everything is happening diagonally, and you don't get to see holes develop like you do in North.

Yea... I definitely prefer ours

I remember bucky posted on twitter that he is current 6'7.
