Edit: so looking into it, if they were referring to only Commonwealth Clash sports/points, then that runs with the academic calendar and starts in July/August. Even then it's still incorrect as the Men's soccer tied and a point was awarded to both schools.
Only those that watched it deserve to enjoy that kids tears. We have plenty of Wahoo fodder over the years to pull from. Let the kid fade.
