Toledo with a DC Wilson special- two #12's on the field on their punt reception team . Louisville punted and had touchback almost downed at the 1. Louisville decided to try long FG instead of re-punting. Toledo blocked the field goal attempt an got it at the 45 instead. Ironically , one of the #12's was on the field for the FG try and was the one who blocked the attempt! Some folks get all the luck/breaks!

Three notes:

1. Belichick and Petrino have no history.
2. CJMFF is actually the one hiring his friends.
3. Sandler's resume of accomplishments and wealth speak to the success of doing it his way. And Sandler pays for everything himself or with his company.

It's quite foreign to americans, but I think that one desperate conference needs to try it, and it will take off... like, maybe the ACC:

• The top tier is called the champions level and includes the top 9 teams from the previous year. Those 9 teams split 60% of the revenue equally.
• The second tier is called the challenger tier and includes 8 teams.
• Every team plays every team in their respective tier.
• If we must do a conference championship game, the top 2 teams in the championship tier play each other.
• Each year, the top 2 teams from the challenger tier are promoted up, and the bottom 2 teams from the championship tier are relegated down

In my unbiased opinion, this is a great hire. You can always trust a Sean. Be wary of Shawns, though, and run the other way from Shauns.

I see the targeting, expecting, confirmed spectrum more like weather warnings. They mean something, but I'm not really sure what.

Their tie breakers were the same as everybody elses tiebreakers. The scheduling is abhorrent.

In their defense however, mega conferences mean that the scheduling can't be simple. That and unlimited free agency are what is going to kill the sport.

Used to live right over the hill from there. Pick a roll of TP from the Holiday Inn, push out the center and stand in the top parking lot, and the wind tunnel effect would unroll the whole thing from the inside into one long stream and cary it off to TP who knows who somewhere.

I'm beginning to think the only way that's even a possibility is if G5 conferences are aligned with power conferences on a business level. Otherwise, the money and revenue is too unpredictable.

Under the current set up, it'll never happen. Too many short sighted greedy people running the individual shows.
