Really?
I was certain we'd be rolling in something more like Smithfield bacon or Bojangles biscuits.

Radar doesn't work well in the mountains.
I can't believe this point hasn't been made yet, but we have Antonio Freeman's son on the USMNT. How can anyone still think we can't win it all? /s

For whatever reason, I would run into him on campus rather frequently. Very nice and engaging guy. Prayers to his family and friends
Mullen finished 2nd. Nininger 3rd. Gorman 4th
No, I am his father.
That's disappointing, thought he showed a Spark.
As I always point out when DUIs/DWIs happen with athletes, Blacksburg building student housing outside of typical walking distance (walkshed is considered 0.25 mi to 0.5 mi, anything above that and people start to choose other options). A more densely built town with campus, housing, and downtown closer together would make this much less common.
How's that for a slice of fried gold?
Prayers for the former hokie.
In the VA courts database, a Cameron Lamar Sparks got a misdemeanor DWI on April 12. His lawyer is listed as Jimmy Turk, who frequently defends VT athletes. Sparks is due in court again on June 18.
I thought Luke's father was Anakin...
Sparks is no longer with the program
VT offered this statement regarding Sparks:"Cam Sparks is no longer with the football program.Roster attrition is common following a head coaching change, and institutions must now also be mindful of recently mandated roster limits established through the House settlement....— Andy Bitter (@AndyBitterVT) May 31, 2026
FSU held on to win 2-1. Plays again at 6 against the loser of the St Johns/NIU game at 2.
How many Peanuts gang dancing Gifs will I need?

Correct. While on the floor or in acting in their congressional duties, Congress members are allowed to slander anyone or any company. So, those protections carve into what is considered illegal outside of legislation. Similar protections are afforded for attorneys, expert witnesses, etc. in the courtroom.
It is sort of crazy, but the theory is that if there are two sides, you can go to extremes that would rise to illegal defamation outside of these arenas, because the other side can counter. And therefore, the public (or jury in court) can be the arbitrator of fact. And because the Executive is one-sided, they are not afforded these carve outs.
Apparently, according to his 247 page, Noah Braham has transferred out of WVU and is now at Bryant in Rhode Island. I was looking to see if Noah was an OL and recruited by Matt Moore, but it appears Noah was recruited as a LB/TE.
The older brother was there when Matt Moore was there, so I would imagine that the family did connect with Matt Moore with the father being an NFL OL alum.

RIP coach
Sometimes the best thing a Morgantown kid can do is get out so they dont get sucked in to the drinking with 50% of their high school classmates being there in addition to the prior year kids that are already there. I can still remember walking down the hill from UHS at lunch to the frat houses where someone's older brother was in, giving us beer at noon. They fortunately built a new school away from downtown but the connections are all still there I imagine.
I will take any offensive lineman coming from Coach Kelly and University High. Its one position that consistently shines for them. Funny to see your old high school assistant in a kids profile. Go Hawks!!
Sometimes kids want to carve out their own legacy.
HOKIES!

Feel like with Moore's connections to the region, it's fair to trust him over the recruiting rankings for this prospect.
