'14 DT Ricky Walker, Bethel

I was watching some film earlier this morning and Walker's really impressed me.

The kid is an athlete stuck in a lineman's body. He plays both end and tackle, comes off the ball quick, plays with a high motor, and has nice leverage. Both Rivals and 247 list him as a 4-star and Tech is among his favorites. His brother Rijo is a junior at Virginia.

Here's an interview he did as a sophomore.

Dave Johnson at the Daily Press wrote a nice feature on him. (http://articles.dailypress.com/2012-09-05/sports/dp-spt-pd-feature-0907-...)

At 6-2, some consider him too short for a college defensive lineman. But as Walker is quick to point out, Virginia Tech's starters up front go 6-1, 6-1, 6-0 and 6-1.

"If that's the place I go, I'll fit in perfectly with their setup," he said. "I might not be 6-4, 295, but I'll gain weight when I get there."

Hopefully Cornell can land him.
