So Andy Bitter tweeted a few days ago that the beat writers joked about the Coastal Division combining to make an All-star team in an attempt to beat FSU in the ACC championship. This idea got me thinking, and then it made me sad when I realized how many Virginia Tech players would be on it... Here is my Coastal Division All-star team (injuries taken into account):
Defense: Virginia Tech (I think this is pretty obvious, the only changes I'd make is maybe Tre Boston (UNC) for Detrick Bonner, and Jeremiah Attaochu (GT) to split time with J.R. Collins)
QB: Logan Thomas (This can easily be argued with, but IMO he is the only QB with the elite talent too compete with FSU. IF its one of LT's good games, he gives the team the best chance too win) Who else would it be?
WR: I need help with this one, honestly no receivers in the coastal have made a very big splash, maybe DJ Coles, maybe Jamison Crowder (Duke). If I had to guess, Crowder along with some of Miami's WR's would probably be the most talented group.
RB: Also hard with the injury of Duke Johnson, but I'd give it too either Dallas Crawford (MIA) or Trey Edmunds (*little bit of bias*). Dallas has raw talent, and has been a productive replacement to Johnson though.
TE: Eric Ebron (UNC), pretty easy
OL: I could use some help on this one too. Andrew Miller? Miami's line?
It's kind of sad to see the number of Tech players on this list compared to the on field production against teams like Duke, BC, and Maryland, but who would you guys put on the Coastal All-star team to play FSU?
