If LT wins as a starter against UVA, he will match Tyrod Taylor's mark of 5-1 as a starter against VT's biggest rivals: UVA and Miami. Including a 3-0 record against the only other team to represent the Coastal, not even Tyrod did that. I know he has played poorly in other contests (*DUKE!!!!*), but putting together wins in conference against teams the fansbase cares about beating the most has to count for something, right? And that 4th down sneak in the Miami game 2 years ago goes down in VT lore. And having to go on the road in consecutive years isn't easy either.
And if we are able to win a bowl game he will improve to 2-1 as a starter in bowl games, matching Tyrod's record in post season games.
p.s. Do not mention the Sugar Bowl against Michigan or Danny Coale will show up to your house to personally backhand you.
Just give the Big Man his propers. He might be frustrating at times, but he has lined up and lead the team for years. He has acted as a QB and RB for years now and never complained publicly about the punishing style of play he called on to execute. Let's make it happen LT.
DECADE OF DOMINANCE.
