Braxton Miller to...Virginia Tech?!?

Basically notes that with how well JT Barrett is playing this season, Braxton Miller might be looking to transfer and play elsewhere next year. On the list...Virginia Tech.

There is a lot of talk of him going to Oregon if Mariotta leaves. But what is Hokie Nation's thoughts on this? Offensive Coordinator problems aside (who knows what can happen after the season), I would love to have him in Blacksburg. Memories of Tyrod and MV1 running around my head

I'll take him.

Him vs. what we have now? duh.

We can always throw in the OC job as a sweetener.

Behind this OL and with his injury history?

he'd literally get killed back there

i think there's already been a thread on this.

yes, we'd all love that but tOSU would block the hell out of that transfer seeing as how were on their schedule for next year.

Every second counts

Giggity?

That film would be more fun to review than last weekend's game

Watching the UVA student serenade his Aflac lover was more entertaining than the wake forest game....

I would put my money on you birthing the porcupine, and I'd even be so bold as to double down on porcupine triplets.

Be careful jumping out of a speeding car into a shot glass. It probably won't end well

I just added the following to my grocery list:

1) Porcupine
2) Lighter fluid
3) Matches
4) Shot glass.

I'm assuming you have your own car

Maybe some wet-naps or paper towels too.

That birth..it'll get after ya

Those are better odds than I would have given...

AGAIN no way Meyer lets him come to VT as we play them next year.

If he's graduated, he can go wherever... from what I understand.

But he's not coming here. Just isn't happening. This article is straight click-bait tomfoolery.

Leonard. Duh.

Doesn't matter that he's graduated, school can still tell him where he can and can't go. See: Michael Brewer.

yup, was about to say the same thing! Leg

<3. I'd love to see Miller here, he'd actually have a chance to play QB, which he won't at OSU, but UM will never let that happen with us on the schedule.

I wouldn't want him his injury is to his throwing arm and he gets banged up and hurt alot...I think alot of his and JT's success has to do with Urban Myers offense and the talent around them. Please dont get me started on Braxton

What, is Wisconsin not doing the QB transfers anymore? Seems to have worked out with R. Wilson.

The Dude Abides

Man I wish Tyrod and Wilson were four years apart

Braxton Miller at UW would be awesome - especially if Melvin Gordon III stayed another year.

Again I ask...why would he want to be a backup QB?

Meyer would never let Miller come to VT, but we should be on the lookout for any other transfer who could help next year. 2015 doesn't look any better in regards to QB play.

Meyer might go for it if he knows our OL will still have problems. His DL will break Braxton's shoulder in two plays and we'll be left where we are this year, telling ourselves injuries (or is that deficits?) don't matter.

"The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. " Rocky B.

Don't want to get my hopes up if I have any hopes at all of this happening, but having Braxton for a year could be just what the doctor ordered... 3 years ago that we'd just be finally getting around too but...

Yes,that's the Hokie Bird riding a camel. Why'd you ask?

We need to develop the quarterbacks we have now, not bring one in that will have to learn our system (whatever that will be) and and only stays here for 1-2 years.

I am the heartbeat of Blacksburg. A fortress built out of stone but made with champions.

Yeah, who would want a guy who had a 60+ completion percentage, 2000+ passing yards and 1000+ rushing yards the last two years and 52 passing TD to 17 career INT? (plus 32 rushing TD).

...in Urban's spread offense. He'd be a fish out of water in our Pro Lite scheme.

Reality has a mighty pimp hand.

Didn't work out for Ole Miss in 2010 when they brought in Oregon transfer QB Jeremiah Massoli who was an outstanding player at Oregon, yet played poorly at Ole Miss (Ole Miss went 4-8 that year).

Yes, this. Developing players leads to a strong organizational foundation. Playing the free agent market for a QB reeks of grasping for wins.

Remember he had an absolute STUD OL last year and Carlos Hyde backing him up. So, unless our OL finds the magic bullet, not sure if he'd be the stuff.
