Welcome to Week 10, but don't look too hard, it's a hot mess. Outside our number 19 Hokies and two primetime games, the week is largely forgettable. The games weren't the easiest to choose from, so I'll apologize in advance.

Georgia Tech at 21 North Carolina -10.5
12:30 pm ACC Network

• A nooner(ish) kick + against a gimmicky scheme multiplied by being heavily favored ... the best coaching Fedora can do this week is have his team motivated
• It would be real nice Paul Johnson and the underrated Jackets sprung one of his out of nowhere wins this week, THIS WEEK ... not next

Pick: GT getting the points, the half point hook got me.

11 Florida -5.5 at Arkansas
3:30 pm CBS

• The Razorbacks are 1-3 in conference, granted the one win was vs the best team with 5 losses in all of college football, but Bert couldn't be in trouble if Pig Sooie were 1-4 after Saturday?
• The second half of the Vawls game withstanding Jim McElwain has proven himself to be a damned good coach at Florida. He's one monster recruiting class from running the East

Pick: Florida by a touchdown. Coaching matters.

• The only thing I know about the Richmond Spiders is they are at worst the 13th best ACC program this year, amirite hoos
• Bryan Stinespring has finally got the offense Frank Beamer wet dreamed about ... at JMU. As run game coordinator, the Dukes are averaging 316 yards per game and scoring a billionity points each game, more or less

1 Alabama -7.5 at 13 LSU
8:00 pm CBS

• How much money would you pay to hear Ed Orgeron light a fire under LSU pregame? Fat, sweaty, boot shaking with unkind words about his opponent, hard times and fighting til his last breath, Daddy-O. He's Dusty Rhodes as a football coach ...
• and Saban is his Ric Flair, 16x time World Champ.

Pick: WOOOOO! Bama laying the points. First half emotion isn't beating the Tide or the spread.

10 Nebraska at 6 Ohio State -16.5 8:00 pm ABC

• theeOhio State is flawed. Their passing problems are gumming up the running game. The question is can Urban Meyer correct these flaws in the next 3 games before Michigan?
• The Cornhuskers might have overachieved this season until last week versus Wisconsin. This game will tell us a lot about both programs as they enter the final stretch

Pick: Nebraska getting the points, I think they have the personnel to keep tOSU offense in check to keep the game within two touchdowns.

5 Washington -16.5 at California
10:30 pm ESPN

• The most important thing for privileged Cal fans isn't their Bears winning, unless it's against the even more privileged Stanford, it's that their unwashed hippies on Tightwad Hill can toke up while discussing the Golden State Warriors
• I can't be the only one starting to take a Washington win for granted. Expectations can be contagious and before those players know it, it's 54 - 51 in the 4th and they don't know how the game got to this

Pick: Cal getting those points. It's Pac 12 after dark, UDub is due for a close one vs a team they should beat. Might be real close.
