Wait, Khalil Herbert has six toes on his left foot?

"I was born with twelve fingers. They were cut off when I was younger. I still have six toes on my left foot and they are webbed, so there's three regular ones and three that are webbed together.

The left foot, I feel like I have a little more power pushing off it, but it's something everyone in the locker room wherever I go, they are definitely going to record it and show it on social media and post. So I'm used to it now."

Herbert re-defined the capabilities of a Virginia Tech running back in 2020. He posted the first 1,000 yard season since Travon McMillion in 2015 and amassed 1,182 yards rushing and 8 rushing touchdowns. He averaged 7.7 yards per carry and factored into the team's passing game, recording 10 catches for 179 yards and 1 touchdown. He also shined on Special Teams with 16 kick off returns for 430 yards. In total, he generated 1,791 yards on the season, ranking No. 3 in the country in terms of All-Purpose Yardage.

Though it was a short tenure for Herbert at Virginia Tech, he will represent the University at his next stop, the NFL.
