To Hokie Football Alums. Quick question. For a fall game would you rather have a player/boys weekend or a family weekend? Please respond 😁#hokiefootballalums— Bud Foster (@coachfostervt) June 16, 2021

I need to some Foster Cartwheels ASAP!
Saturdays are for the boys, come on Bud.
I'm guessing the dudes like Tapp and Derek Smith that have families with kids at a cool age would go that route and the dudes that don't have kids would go the other way here.
I know Bud Foster is "settled down" and "retired" but the thought of a boy's weekend and football game with Bud Foster sounds like the best weekend ever in the NRV.
In fact, Hokie Club should definitely think about auctioning that off as a fundraiser. Box seats with Bud!
Got a chance to spend the last Pitt game with him and his family. Let me tell you: it is everything you could imagine it would be, and then 50% cooler than that.
I would love to hear the details on this.
This is a great opportunity for a TKPC post behind the paywall
Yes! Please spill the beans. I've shared it in the past, but I got invited to Bud's 50th birthday party at Claytor lake and he taught me how to drink moonshine the correct way! Talk about a great party!
You lucky dog you, I am humbly jealous my friend.

I posted about it right after it happened. I couldn't help myself, its already on TKP. Let me find the link.
A good friend of mine is friends with Mrs. Foster, so I got the chance to tag along.
He is a very relatable person for how famous he is and how much he hears the same things from fans "I'm a big fan" "I was at game X when VT did Y". He listened to every person, shook their hands and thanked THEM for being so supportive, took every conceivable picture and must have done it like a few dozens times in the hour or so that we sat eating. Asked questions of people about to get them talking about things other than VT football. I think that is what made him so good for VT; he is not above just being himself.
If this alumni weekend comes together I plan to try to ride some coat-tails behind the velvet rope. Stay tuned.
I felt like a 13 year old girl meeting Justin Bieber when I got to meet him and have breakfast with him. He just was so nice about it despite me being just another idiot fan.
I'm not sure i can accept an analogy where Bud Foster = Justin Bieber. Nope it ain't right!
"is it too late now to say sorry?" - Hokie Fireman, probably
Get out.
Ignore this, checking whether I can post a reply.
