A contrast in presentation styles from the other coaches clicker to be sure. A mix of practice and game film. Focus on the actions and teaching points for each player. And we still used a 'successful' play.

That's how every video should end. Let's Go Hokies!
So this one's way better right?
I watched the video on the other thread since it was embedded rather than the tweet.
he's so slow on the clicker /s
Excellent breakdown of a simple stunt.
Unlike the last breakdown, this is much more through. He goes through the importance of the Mike linebacker setting the pick for the inside twist from the three technique, and how they trick the running back into releasing. It shows that so much success comes from team play. The footage (showing practice) and then game footage is a cool touch.
This is well done.
Yikes!***
*sorry, had to
**not sorry
Shrug. It is tough to write fluently with the phone.
I would be very pleased if they release more of this type of content. I liked the concept of the BC one too. I just wish it had been delivered in a way that inspired confidence. This one is a simple concept, but hits on all the key coaching points (except that the 3-3 deeper shell is more of a late game/big lead coverage that is a bit more aggressive than prevent.) The mike setting the pick, the need for the mike to maintain the rush (have to imagine Dax would be good in that role with his extra length), the edge contain, and even the lack of depth by Tisdale, making the deep shell susceptible to a vertical stopping short under the deep cover 3. Good stuff.
I wonder how much of it is that Justin Hamilton just seems much more comfortable in front of the camera? Putting aside the "why didn't we let Tapp talk to the media" for a moment (which is true and probably extends to everyone on the defensive side of the ball) - during the All Access video, J-Ham seems so charismatic. Corny and Hamilton aren't that far apart in age but it really makes a difference with all things media, whether it's these videos, Twitter, etc.
A great Piece. I love that our DTs are quick and are able to get sacks. I also liked the contain aspect of the D-Ends. Good concept
Coach very comfortable and detailed. I like him and his style. Go Hokies!!!!

To borrow from The Emperor's New Groove,
"Make better content and we'll burn your house to the ground!"
"Uhhh, don't you mean 'or you'll burn their house to the ground?"
"Fine. Make better content orrrr we'll burn your house to the ground."
