That other thread was non functional on my devices. Thank you for starting a new one.
Same
But I was really hoping for "2023 HOKIES BASKETBALL OFFSEASON II: ELECTRIC BUGALOO."
This may be my proudest TKP moment.
In future feel empowered and encouraged to go ahead and start one, or to pipe up and say something so mods can be proactive
I wonder if they are going to do the Shaka treatment and run between places in Rome.
Jewel Spear, ACC Scoring Leader two years ago, has entered the portal.
Career 37% from 3 pt range, 2 years of eligibility left.
OT: Hailey Van Lith to LSU
Seemed like a lot of people were thinking Miami because of the Adidas connection. Nope, out of the ACC.
I hope it crashes and burns in a sight brighter than the outfits their douchebag coach wears
They aren't going to be able to play up certain aspects of their press like they did last year in the Tourney run.
Good for Van Lith. For a heartbeat I wanted Tech to go after her, but her me first shooting I don't think would play well with our "Team" concept.
Looking forward to our match-up with her in the natty
She's gonna have a great time riding the pine in the Caymans while we thrash them in the rematch.
The team needs to start brushing up on their Italian...

a classic....
Nickel a bit more official.
Robbie beran from northwestern now a hokie
Evan Mahaffey PSU Transfer apparently visiting per 247. Was a freshman last season.
6-6, 3 and D slasher. 57% FG; 33% 3 pt

This playing style is EXACTLY what the team needs.
Hopefully this goes really well. Would be a big add.

Stock really jumped up the last month, with 8 of his offers coming in and would not be surprised to see him end up above a 90 rating by end of summer.
Ideally he can add 15-20 pounds or will be more a small forward role at the college level.
Lady Hokies up to #9 here.

Similar to Codie in that they both have seen their stock rise with their play on the Adidas 3SSB circuit. Unfortunately I think this is a two horse race in Indiana and Michigan State. Xavier is likely 3rd.
Is it me, or has every recruit we are looking over at least 6'5"?
With 4 quasi pg on the roster in Rice, Pedulla, Rechsteiner and Young focusing on wings and forwards is a higher priority in the next two classes.

Selected Nike EYBL Session 2: All-Tournament Team which is an indication of how he faired against guys from 23-26 classes.
Fine... I'll be THAT guy... Its either "Tech", "Virginia Tech", or "Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University"... not VTU... and may god have mercy on your soul if you say "Vah Tech"
LSU Women add another big piece although you now have four ball hogs all together so will be interesting how it plays out...
I'm wondering if this is about to be a case study in "Just because they're the best doesn't mean they're the best fit"
Pat Riley could take five prima donnas and turn them into NBA champions. Maybe Mulkey can do that on for the NCAAW. She definitely has the hutzpah to try.
Because Mulkey is the Alpha Prima Donna.
Wow, I was worried how Van Lith being a ball hog was going to fit in and they got another?
I'm not worried at all, I'm actively rooting for chaotic implosion lol
Actually same here. Couldn't happen to nicer selection of thugs and complainers. (Including coach)

Very Mutts like frame and ball handling. Has a nice touch on a step back jumper but isn't afraid of contact going up to the rim.

I regret to inform you we did not get Bronny James. Completely stunned the amenities at Foxridge or Terrace View didn't win him over
Should've taken him to the Edge or the Hub instead /s
I think that the NIL will have a huge impact for USC and UCLA recruiting. Easiest way to get involved in national NIL is to be in LA.
Some unfortunate news out of the WNBA. Las Vegas cut Aisha Sheppard. Sheppard played in 23 games in the Aces run to the WNBA Championship last season, averaging 7.5 mpg and 1.5ppg. This clearly shows how hard it is to keep a spot in the WNBA with the limited number of teams. Sheppard was their second round pick last year and Brittany Davis was their only pick this season but both already cut.
She does also play for Tenerife in Spain where she averaged 16.1 Points, 3.5 Rebounds, 1.4 Assists, and 1 Steal so she still has options and may still get picked up by another WNBA team. Just too stacked a roster with some offseason adds for Vegas.
More visits could be added, but right now I like that we have the last one scheduled. Close it out!
He may be a 4 star but that's a 5 star name
Not sure how this plays with Triumph NIL. Looks like SIG found a way to sign/compensate International athletes.
So they photoshop blur the VT from her uniform but they can leave the ACC logo? I'm confused.
NIL is supposed to be specific to the person, not the person of a school.
