I don't know how many of you are following what is going on with the MLB uniforms this year, but Nike (and Fanatics) is making an absolute mess of their on field uniforms to the point where the MLBPA is getting involved.
Basically, they've dramatically cut quality, they've eliminated the stitched on numbers and logos and going with heat pressed sublimated elements. All jerseys have the same nameplate template. They've basically cheaped out on the whole thing.
And the worst part is that while they've slashed the quality of the product, they've actually raised prices on the merchandise. And it's becoming a big black eye on baseball to start the season.

Honestly, watching this all play out and seeing how Nike has been doing similar cost cutting and quality reduction with the NFL, I'm not sure they're really the best option out there anymore. We might be better off going with someone like Adidas.
