my area is currently having a bucees built, and a wawa. We've already got Sheetz..
But honestly... how many fkn gas stations does an area really need? They're literally building them less than a mile from each other in an area already chuck full of gas stations. I don't know why I'm ranting here.

My wife used to work on a project for the state of Washington. Would be out there 2-3 times a year for a week or so each time. She told me 1 intersection had a Starbucks on 3 out of the 4 corners.

When I lived in Atlanta (specifically Marietta) I had 3 Waffle Houses inside of one mile of my first apartment. There was one on either side of 75 at the exit, and then another one just up the road at the intersection where my apartment was.

She loved this show as a little girl. She will occasionally still watch one of these episodes. I never knew of this show until I met her. I grew up way back in the hills of SWVA and had very limited TV viewing options.

Actually that is my favorite Will Ferrell movie. For a couple of reasons. First I have always been a NASCAR fan and second, like Ricky Bobby's dad Reese, I also got bounced from an Applebee's one night. 😂😂

The most famous person I know is the guy who was Will Ferrell's stand in for the shooting of Talledega Nights. He's the exact same height so they would set up the shots with him in the race car, or whatever they were doing for the scene, and then they would switch places.

Yeah, when you move out of state you gotta make sure you say you're from "southWESTERN Virginia" to people.... They don't understand how big the difference is......

Yeah I still think of Clarksburg in the 90s, but all the business moved to Bridgeport and downtown is bad now. So I haven't been in downtown Clarksburg in a decade even though I grew up minutes away. So it's probably way worse than what I remember.
Also that Walmart being in Clarksburg is bullshit, that's no where close, stupid mayor of bridgport that didn't file correct documents to annex land.

Sorry. I was sarcastically saying Clarksburg was better because the main entrance/exit to Clarksburg is through the rundown parking garage with a sign celebrating Jimbo Fisher for winning a national championship. Was really agreeing with your earlier statement.

I can't speak to Clarksburg proper. But I had a project out in the box store area. At the time I was looking for a Stihl MS400 chainsaw. Stopped into a place in that area that actually had them in stock (Covid era short supply). They had jacked up the price over $200. I was sort of pissed because I'd finally found one, and they pulled that nonsense.
This has nothing to do with the town. But, be warned of the only store in that area that sells stihl. They're gougers.

VT Football makes me want to Huff glue. Wait am I doing this right
Charles Huff has two players wearing #0 on his roster.
But are they on the field at the same time?
Charles Huff enjoys setting his cruise control at the speed limit, driving in the left lane, and singing "Country Roads", all while driving I-64.
Charlie Huff thinks it's ludicrous crap that he's a three touchdown underdog (and he's right).
Charles Huff prefers to go by Chuck Inhale
Charles Huff roots for Humperdinck
Charles Huff does not know that Wawa has pizza.
Well, he's Sheetz all the way.
royal farms off the top rope!
meh theyre ok. i keep hearing good things about buc-ees though. mostly about their bathrooms
Cleanest public restroom I have even used in my life.
Charles Huff prefers his public bathrooms to be.... let's just say he prefers them "unclean"
Airport bathrooms then
my area is currently having a bucees built, and a wawa. We've already got Sheetz..
But honestly... how many fkn gas stations does an area really need? They're literally building them less than a mile from each other in an area already chuck full of gas stations. I don't know why I'm ranting here.
My commute to work has two wawas within 0.8 miles of each other on the same road. I bet it was Charlie Huffs idea
Charles Huff builds RoFos on opposite corners, and 3 within 3 miles of each other as fast as he can.
Leesburg has a 7-11 directly across the street from another 7-11.
My wife used to work on a project for the state of Washington. Would be out there 2-3 times a year for a week or so each time. She told me 1 intersection had a Starbucks on 3 out of the 4 corners.

Charles Huff thinks that since they won last year they can do it again.
Charles Huff thinks Marshall should be in the SEC as they are P2 quality.
Charles Huff gets into arguments he knows he cant win so that he can get angry and leave in a ....well, you know.
Charles Huff thinks Enter Sandman is his nickname.
But with him, it's because of his press conferences that put everyone to sleep.
Marshall's playbook title is "Huff, Huff, Pass"
I thought it was "I'll HUFF, and puff, and blow your house down."
Huff, Puff, -n- stuff.
He's disappointed his last name isn't Eicheez
Charles huff as a boss thinks that it's ok to start more jobs than he has employees and then gets mad when they can't do their jobs efficiently
Charles Huff doesn't like Higgins on Ted Lasso.
Charles Huff thinks the higher his PSA the better.
Charles Huff reminds me of this guy:
Then my wife would be a big fan of Huff. 😃
She loved this show as a little girl. She will occasionally still watch one of these episodes. I never knew of this show until I met her. I grew up way back in the hills of SWVA and had very limited TV viewing options.
Good ol H R Pufnstuf
Charles Huff like to be called H R Huffnstuf.
I dunno, whatever I said last year.
"Charles Huff says "Huff Huff Hass" every time a joint is passed around, and collapses in peals of laughter at himself before he even takes a hit" - tBoDC -Wayne Gretzky - Michael Scott
.....I wasn't gonna do any better than that anyway, that's brilliant
Charles Huff incessantly tells Harry Potter jokes. You know...cause Hufflepuff.....God. I suck at this. Can we just win this weekend please?
Charles Huff begged the sorting hat to place him in Hufflepuff and still got put in Slytherin.
There you go. Thats what I meant
Charles Huff calls himself the Football Marshal
Charles Huff once spread his buttcheeks for Playgirl Magazine under the pseudonym "Mike Honcho"
Yall haven't seen Talladega Nights? lol
Charles Huff has John Ballein hire his football coaches.
Charles Huff mentions Saquon Barkley to every recruit that he meets.
Brent Pry mentions Micah Parsons to every recruit that he meets. (Oops, I think I did that wrong)
Charles Huff is a decent guy and I hope we hang half a century on his team.
While holding them to less than a decade.
Charles Huff thinks his team is the best team in western Virginia.
Western Virginia would certainly be an upgrade from West Virginia.
Yeah, when you move out of state you gotta make sure you say you're from "southWESTERN Virginia" to people.... They don't understand how big the difference is......
Charles Huff thinks Huntington isn't a shithole
In WV terms, it isn't
I think you might be confusing rural and shithole. Much of southern WV is rural. Huntington is not rural. Huntington is a shithole.
Yup, Huntington is the shittiest place in WV to live, lots of drugs and crime.
Parkersburg, Clarksburg 100% give it a run for its money. Wal Mart and meth... that's literally all that's there.
It is shocking the difference between Bridgeport and Clarksburg given their close proximity.
Yeah, Bridgeport sucked all the good out because it has superior interstate access.
Are you crazy? The superior way to access the interstate is by driving through a parking garage first. /s
I dont understand this at all ... so confused.
Sorry. I was sarcastically saying Clarksburg was better because the main entrance/exit to Clarksburg is through the rundown parking garage with a sign celebrating Jimbo Fisher for winning a national championship. Was really agreeing with your earlier statement.
Ah, I know what you're talking about, that's the entrance to route 50 not I-79 so there was my confusion.
I can't speak to Clarksburg proper. But I had a project out in the box store area. At the time I was looking for a Stihl MS400 chainsaw. Charles Huff is a WVU fan but went to Marshall
Charles Huff tells everyone HuffPost was named after him.
