I know we didn't get Gameday this week, but I think a consolation prize may be more feasible. How about we try to get Gameday to have CFB as Guest Picker for the Battle at Bristol? Think about it. Largest crowd to ever see a football game, a brand new coach, an SEC team seemingly on the rise, Week 1, and a recently available and knowledgeable HOF coach to be the celebrity guest.

Considering his contract calls for him to be a "special assistant to the Athletic Director" for some amount of years after his retirement, I expect we will see Frank around for moments like this.
This one especially, because of how long it took to make this game happen and that it did under Frank (and Weaver's efforts)
As a pure hypothetical, what parts of campus/town would be good to showcase if ESPN ever did come by? Does anybody have any go to spots they bring people to impress them with VT?
Apart from saying UT is on the rise, I love it. A million times yes. I'd say that Gameday will be at that game anyway, it being the largest college football game in history. Bruton Smith and Jerry Caldwell will make sure there will be tons of events, concerts, parades, and everything for this. It's going to be a weekend long party here and Gameday would be crazy not to come join it and I have no doubt in my mind that Beamer wouldn't be there...
If Gameday went to Bristol and didnt have Frank as guest picker, I'd be surprised.
