ESPN had a nice piece on the journey from Blacksburg to Arizona for coach Arians. I have know that he was a Hokie but he is not someone I knew much about.
Plus side for Shane, here is more precedence for jumping from RB coach to successful head coach.
Thought some of you might enjoy.

Becoming Bruce Arians:
Step 1: Be born to parents with surname "Arians," have said parents name you "Bruce."
There is no step 2.
PROFIT!
Well shit. I guess there is a step 2.
Bruce had been the QB during the '74 season when I was in high school so I was curious about him and remember looking at him standing behind the offensive backfield back in '76 during scrimmages. I can't remember he ever said a word. From a recent article somewhere I learned, and never knew, he was tight with Jimmy Sharpe, most likely his path to Alabama. Anyone who watches the video will see Nick Rapone quoted as an assistant at Temple for Arians. He played DB for the Hokies in the mid 70's.
Anyway, I guess the Hokies still have four QB's somewhere in the NFL. We're QBU too.
Go Fuente! Go Hokies!
