This should be a interesting subject, who is going to make more of a splash in the NFL at Tight End.....Will it be Bucky Hodges.....or........Drum roll.....Logan Thomas?????

Honestly? Logan Thomas. Despite his size, Bucky never dominated the way I expected him to, physically. Whereas Logan will always have this going for him:
I 100% agree, he will put on some weight this offseason, always has had good speed for his size and great hands...If he can pick up on the blocking and they give him a shot, it would not surprise me a bit if he became All-Pro..

I think he'll have a hard time out wide in the league. Needs to learn how to block and be a killer tight end. Crazy mismatches in the middle. Don't think his routes and speed are enough to play on the outside. But, I guess that's where NFL practices come in.
Will be interesting to see his cmobine numbers. Very similar to Jordan Reed, 3-4 round grade, physically gifted, needs to gain physicality to be an on the line tight end but can be a matchup nightmare.
IIRC Jordan Reed also played QB at Florida
I doubt either will have substantial NFL careers.
Drafted to the right location, Bucky will make a big impact in the NFL. He has all the intangibles to be a really good TE, and should contribute right away in most offenses. His combination of size and speed with the ability to catch the ball will make him a tough matchup for any team. He could be a dominant player if he lands somewhere like New England or Carolina, where there is already a top end TE where he could be used to shred teams in a 2 TE set.
I think if Logan allowed himself to be positioned toward TE right out of Tech, he could have really contributed in the NFL, but unfortunately I think that ship has sailed. Right now, he'll be a 25 year old trying to learn a brand new position that he's never played and hoping to crack an NFL roster. That's a tough ask, and given his age, I am not sure many teams are going to be willing to wait for him to develop the skills when they could just pick up a more polished commodity through the draft or FA.
