This will probably just be me posting to myself but if anyone else is watching, feel free to chat along. Game is just tipping off and marks the first time the MLS Allstars will be playing a La Liga team in Real Madrid.

And the game starts with a flat ball. Odd.
Garza already subbed out with a rather suspect injury. For those who don't know, if a player chooses not to play in the All-Star Game, they must sit out their next league match. Playing 4 minutes then getting injured and coming off is a little suspicious.
The Real Madrid attack is getting a lot of space just outside of our box. Tim Howard is not going to have a fun night.
Either that or he should gonna reproduce the Belgium game and have a REALLY fun night.
MLS is fairing far better than I expected. The midfield play is very good.
So far, I'm surprised to see Giovinco be so unwilling to open it up. He usually plays fast to the point of being almost out of control. Not sure why he's holding back, other than the normal doesn't want to pick up an injury stuff.
Kaka tends to like to keep stuff in the middle on the attacking third. Especially with David Villa, I don't think Sebastian will get as many looks which is a shame.
Yep good point. As I was typing, Giovinco just tried to run a one man counter attack. Go get it Sebastian!
Altidore off at 30 minutes and is smack talking Tim Howard. Jozy is a national treasure.

Solid first half. Madrid looks to be in much better form with regards to fitness which is disappointing as the MLS is mid season and Madrid is preseason. Giovinco almost stole that.
Interesting by Garber there. Basically said Beckham/Miami have the green light for expansion and threw exactly 4 other clubs that could be next. Until now, we've had 12 with no real clear picture.
