They have him going to Carolina. I have to say I'm a bit surprised, not that he'd leave after this season, but that he'd be a first-rounder.

I think you got the link title and address reversed.
DBU!
This isn't surprising. He is perfect 1st round material given that he is a) a truly special athlete and b) he fits the current trend in corners of being tall, and lengthy. Lots of corners are getting overrated by being tall/long the last few years. That said, I don't think AA is being overrated, personally.
Not surprising, and great for Adonis. If he leaves early, however, DBU is going to be in dire straits in terms of depth. Stroman and Facyson are seniors, and Terrell Edmunds is likely leaving early.
Which is why I trust Foster & Mitchell to have Floyd, Deablo, and Hunter ready at the safety positions and Rogers, Watts, Clarke, and Ladler at the corners.
Don't forget Jac-quellen

I think he means Jovonn Quillen?
Dang I suppose both could apply. I meant Quillen, but the reference originated with Alleyne. Oh well!
Carolina doesn't draft Hokies. It's their fatal flaw. I wish they'd clean up that issue.
James Anderson was one but that's all I can remember
Jeff King as well.
While I'm by no means saying I dislike the pick in a vacuum, I was so upset when I saw them draft an unheard of college DE to play FB... with Sam Rogers on the board.
As a Panthers fan, I would love to see some Hokies on the squad again. There was one season (2006 I believe), where we had Jeff King, James Anderson, Will Montgomery and Kevin McCadam on the team. I don't think we've had a single Hokie on the Panthers since James Anderson in 2012.
Crazy his only other big school offer was wake forest .
Interesting note. They project 12 ACC players to go in the first round. ( +2 from Notre Dame)
Kinda hope he ends up being a 2019 first rounder
Anybody else notice there were two guys on that list that should have attended VT? What would our defense look like this year with three first-rounders on it?
Sweat and Nnadi, couple of bigtime 757 recruits we missed on.
How is FSU's defense lauded for this year? 4 projected first rounders from one side of the ball is pretty amazing.
I was thinking three - Nnadi, Alexander, & Sweat.
I guess we were never really in the running for Nnadi.
No, we were. My heart remembers.
If he's projected as a 1st rounder at the end of the season, he should go and I'd be more than happy for him. Having underclassmen declare early is actually good for recruiting IMO.
Go make that first round money and donate some back to the school
