So to make matters worse the Hokies area still not back to Blacksburg. Weather in roanoke forced them to land and spent the night on the plane in Raleigh.
Legit been on the plane 9 hrs π€¦ββοΈπ‘and still not in the burg ! Just made that L way worseβ Trevon Hill (@TreSavage94_) November 5, 2017
Now they are in Tennessee still can't get to Roanoke.

Wow, that's brutal.
Think of it as "team building".
Hey, they're currently 15 minutes from me! I'll come buy them coffee if that makes this night any less miserable, wow...
Bristol. {shudders}
Pete implied they're taking buses back now.
They are 2-3 hours at best from being back in their beds. Jesus that sucks.
The whole trip was probably rigged from the start by ESPN
They can control the weather!
This is going to be a new thing now isn't it?
I sure hope so. The best parts of TKP are laughing at ourselves and turning negativity into hilarious memes.
Daily reminder to never go Full Arnie. Carry on.
yep it sure is...SoupHokie09 says so or was it his brother!
Drunk cousin.
Of course it is...how'd you think we got Donald Trump? #ESPNRiggedtheElection #HillaryCalledforBSPersonalFoul

Do not even open this can of worms. If the thought ever crosses anyone's mind that "this joke on TKP would be made better with politics!" then just close your browser.
O so I can't make my Roosevelt joke now uh! Thanks
Too soon.
Teddy with the long con. Bully!
I appreciate the official VT Football twitter livetweeting this mess. Gallo's getting after that studying.
WTF? Unless it was fog, the weather in Roanoke wasn't even bad last night.
It was fog. I've spoken to someone who was on the plane. The pilot tried to get an exception to land in the poor visibility, but the request was denied.
Pilot here: There's no such thing as an "exception" to land in lower than required visibility. If you don't have the required visibility you are either holding or going somewhere else. Depending on which runway they were trying to land on, they would need anywhere between 3/4 of a mile to 1 and 3/4. Not uncommon for this to happen.
Gotcha, thanks for the clarification! That was his understanding of the situation, I guess he didn't quite get what was happening, haha
Didn't the same thing happen after that LSU loss back in 2007?
I'm worried them being this exhausted is going to affect the practice week. I really hope the team and leadership is able to hold it together this week.
This just keeps getting worse.
Post game these guys need, rest, food and post game rehab. They are getting none of that.
Is it still foggy in Roanoke?
Can they not fly now?
Also, I know the goal is to get home, but couldn't they have landed somewhere with a hotel?
It'd be pretty difficult to find a hotel last minute with the space to accommodate an entire football team and staff. Sucks that it had to happen last night after a really hard loss, after a rough day there isn't anything better than getting sleep in your own bed.
True.
Buses just got there. WCYB just asked for permission to use photos. This is going to be all over the news in Bristol tonight and it'll get the Tennessee fans going (even though they have no room to talk about anything).
This can't be good for our prep for GT.
Just checking the traffic a while ago and saw they are about to run into a four-car wreck later on just southwest of Wytheville. Can't be good.
Traffic on 81 is stopped, these kids are so fucked.
Just like in last night's game.
Can't catch a break.
too soon
Are we there yet?
NOT YET....
Lost a day of prep for GT - check
One less night of sleeping off the soreness of a tough game - check
15 hours!
I think they could have driven back from Miami in that time.
Yeah, yeah, I know I used in the other thread but, it applies here, more.
