Can someone clarify how the title "Associate Head Coach" differs from other assistants. At first I thought it would refer to a Head Coach in Waiting, but if that were the case I would think Foster would have the title rather than Shane Beamer. Is it a way to get around recruiting restrictions maybe?

Correct me if I'm wrong.
I believe it designates Shane as head coach in a circumstance where Frank is unable to lead the team. Billy Hite was formerly the associate head coach.
