MV7, MV5, LT3, Grant Wells, Braxton Burmeister, Ryan Willis, Josh Jackson, Jerod Evans, Michael Brewer, Tyrod Taylor, Sean Glennon, and Grant Noel. That's right, UVA. You couldn't beat Grant Noel.

Blessed to have been a student during his last two years at VT. 23 sacks in 11 games in one season despite being double-teamed almost all the time. And had to fight for recognition against Refrigerator Perry. Ludicrous comparison. The Fridge was just a mountain sized person. Bruce was 6'3 285 and could run a 4.7 40! Amazing to watch in person.

I'll admit that I liked the Fridge, but Bruce was the whole package. Saw him play a lot myself, and can't remember focusing so hard on one defensive player before or since. Didn't care where the ball was going, just watchin' Bruuuuuce!

Bruce is one reason that I love to watch defensive football. Like skippy, I was there to watch Bruce as well. Most impressive football player I've ever seen on defense.

Take the shortest route to the ball and arrive in bad humor.

He was a lot of fun to watch. Come to think of it, still is, just in a different way.

Bruce was a class act, and my favorite hokie. He is just a nice to talk to today as he was in school. He had the best first step , and no 2 guys could block him. He was truly a man among boys.
