awesome. With all the veteran turnover on the roster, it will be good to keep some experience in the secondary. Nobody would have faulted him for leaving but I'm glad to see he'll be back

Glad to have him back.

Makes sense for a D player to stay for defensive minded coach, welcome back and good call!

He looks like one of a few players who took the weightroom seriously, so he will be a good leader for the new staff to rely on.

This stood out more to me this past season than ever before. The contrast was greatest in the Maryland game, but even against UNC he stood out as a player who "looked" how a P5 player at his position is supposed to look. He plays physically as well.

I can't wait to return to that. That game we played at WVU where Pat White got his first playing time showed a difference from what RichRod was doing. The WVU fan beside me just looked at the opening formation and saw Jimmy Williams matched up against their reciever and he was just so much bigger, which typically corners are smaller than recievers.

Jimmy Williams always looked bigger because of him waving his arms in the air to the crowd like he was trying to warn off a bear he stumbled upon in the woods.

His decision was made after a phone call with longtime Virginia Tech assistant coach Bud Foster. All Foster told him was, "We win. They don't."

I miss the day of Jimmy Jacks on every down

Awesome. Tear it up and go to the pros next year and get paid son!!

Great news, physical DB that would have fit right in with an old Bud defense. Hopefully he gets a little more experience and shows out next year.

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, not the other way around.

Great to see a top shelf Hokie show his allegiance all the way through. Great to have another talented and experienced leader coming back. Build that resume for the next level Armani.

Hell the fuck yeah.

I feel good about all of the players who will be on next year's roster really wanting to be at VT
