Because we're all Sunday morning quarterbacks.

St. Judes and the Pittsburgh Panthers

Our last game against UNC saw a great joke/bet tweet from twitterer @OldKingMattCole turn into an awesome charity effort for the TKP community. In honor of Michael Brewer's nearly turnover-less day, we raised almost $3000 for the St. Jude Children's Hospital.

I want to keep the spirit of this going all season. Each week we'll come up with some new and semi-relevant challenge to help determine how much we are going to donate that week. I am personally going to keep the dollar amounts relatively low, keeping in mind a tight budget and a long season, but y'all feel free to go crazy if you want.

Hokies in the NFL #5 2014 The Almost Logan Thomas Edition

If it wasnt for Duane Brown with Houston, we wouldnt have cared a whit (sic) about the Thursday night game where Houston fumbled their way to allow Indianapolis to win 33-28.

Control of the Coastal: UVA at Duke on TV

ACC Network for October 18: http://www.theacc.com/#!/news-detail/acc-network-affiliates-october-18-v...

Mostly the same channels across Virginia and DC. The only change is that ACC Network is moving back to WDBJ from Fox 21/27 in the New River Valley, since CBS doesn't have a noon game this week.

Comparing Red Zone and 3rd down %

This year so far I wanted to see how we compared in some of the statistics that apparently matter a lot in the outcome of games. I looked at 3rd down % and red zone. Our turnover margin is -1 so figured didnt need to post that one up. Thoughts on where things are now and where they are going?

Currently we are #15 which is surprising.
We have also faced GT #1, ECU #10, OSU #20

Game Outcomes that Help the Hokies This Weekend

With the it being a week until VT plays at Pitt I was thinking about what outcomes this weekend could help VT. Unfortunately uva is on a bye too as well and so they can't lose this weekend.

My thoughts on the impactful outcomes:

N.C.A.A. Fan Map shows that Virginia Tech dominates the State of Virginia

The Virginia Tech Hokies are not only winning on the field but also in the number of fan base. While many states are divided between universities, the Commonwealth of Virginia is united in the support of the Virginia Tech Hokies.
