APrimushokie, I second hokieatopher's comment. I knew I wanted to be married in my mid-teens but couldn't find "the one" until my mid thirties. We got engaged and she dumped me 6 days later with virtually no explanation. I carried a torch for that lady for five years before I found the wonderful lady who is now my wife. I didn't feel like it while waiting but she was, is and continues to be worth waiting for.

Alone as well and happy to be that way! My depth chart of portal exits is longer than Fuente's. Do not fret, enjoy the freedom. I tell my friends all the time, there's sure to be another future ex-gf around the corner. One of these days, maybe one of them won't turn out to be an ex. Hell, I already know how I'm going to meet her. Hope she's ready for a fun rollercoaster of a life. I seriously don't worry about being single at 36 and neither should you.

I appreciate it, though I'm sure a couple were not.
Speaking of, whatever happened to shakeitallabout?
edit: I actually appreciate that this has gone unanswered, because it allows me to make something up in place of the truth. Yes, I am too lazy to find out for myself, dude wasn't worth the effort.

Hang in there. I had just accepted that I might never find anyone. Had suffered through my ex-fiancΓ©, then went about 1.5 years before I could really get close to anyone. Dated a wonderful woman for a couple years after that. Had been good friends with her before we started dating, but I could never get to the point where I could say I loved her or that I wanted to have kids with her. Just never felt "it". Had broken up with her and accepted the possibility that it might never happen. Didn't give up, but reached the acceptance stage. Wife and I met hiking within (I think) a few weeks after that. Were talking marriage within a month and engaged in about 1.5 months total.

Lucky you. My daughter on the southside has no predicted fix time.
glad I rejoined you all, the Virginia Tech Homies
I am sure that I am joined by many others of the TKP family that were happy to see your return.
I appreciate it, though I'm sure a couple were not.

All I seem to recall is that he/they shook it one time too many...

These are the best. Thank you for putting this together.
