I'm a little jealous of this

I love the old school feel of Lane Stadium...but damn, this is impressive.

Recorded the interview of him by Samantha Steele that aired on ESPN today.

Being out in the Seattle area, I heard this on the radio. Am I surprised that a Hokie would be such a great guy even after NFL stardom? Of course not. In fact, it would be difficult for me to name any of our NFL players that I don't admire for their humble and respectful attitudes (Don't bring up the Vick/dog situation - I have a dog and I still think the time he did for that was a joke. Pro athletes shoot, rape, etc. and they get a slap on the wrist, but of course PETA comes down like the wrath of god and makes a fuss).
It seems like he Loeffler's offense was allot better when he was using a man/gap offensive line scheme at Temple.
Do you think Loeffler's offense wasn't as productive last year because he used Grime's zone blocking scheme? (I know Auburn's offensive line was very young)
Also, do you think they will incorporate both zone and man concepts this year on the offensive line since Tech does not have athletic enough offensive lineman to run a full blown zone scheme?
Nike just released new Virginia Tech shirts for the 2013 season
Obviously I am not a fan of Clemson especially as of late. But the emerging story of their former linebacker Jonathan Willard helping to pull members of a family from a burning car along the highway is a great thing to see. Always great to see something like this showing true heroism from an athlete especially with the negative stories going around right now http://m.espn.go.com/nfl/story?storyId=9504862
Buying into a cable/ TV provider is like getting a Chipotle burrito. Each consumable behemoth offers much satisfaction in what is seemingly packaged into a shell of wanted variety of flavor. Look underneath the shell however, and filler consists most of what's inside. The product isn't necessarily bad. It just feels as though one has to pick through a lot to get what they ordered.
All I got. Sounds like a player

We come in at 25th. However, they calculate stadium size in to the equation so its a pretty poor way to measure.
The media made their picks for the final ACC standings in the 2013 season.
Predicted Atlantic Div. standings: 1. Clemson, 2. FSU, 3. N.C. State, 4. Wake Forest, 5. Maryland, 6. Syracuse, 7. BC #ACCKickoff— Norm Wood (@normwood) July 22, 2013
As reported by Doug Doughty from the Roanoke Times, VT will be welcoming two transfers this fall. The first, Remington Henshaw, a kicker from the Richmond Spiders that will have 2 years of eligibility. Was a 2-sport stand out from Roanoke, transferring primarily for financial reasons. The second is a bruising DE from NY, 6-5" 240-lb Wade Hansen. He is a D-3 transfer. It will be interesting to see how these gentlemen fit into the big leagues!
So after consulting Joe about this, I'm going to share some insight on my day today.
I work at Cassell Coliseum and one of my regular roles is to help coaches/administrators move offices. Today I helped Billy Hite go from his cozy corner office on the 2nd floor to the abyss known as the 5th floor. After I transported the stuff he was keeping he mentioned to me that there was stuff he wanted thrown out. He told me I could go through it and keep what I wanted and after looking through the stuff I thought about the community of TKP. Well now that I am home I have sorted through the stuff and I have included a photo and a list of what was destined for the trash truck.
2015 has the potential to be a very, very good team. I took the time to put down the names that the staff will have to play with.
QB: Bucky Hodges (r-so), Andrew Ford (r-fr)
RB: JC Coleman (sr), Trey Edmunds (r-jr), Chris Mangus (r-jr), Marshawn Williams (r-freshman)

Good article from Doug Doughty from The Roanoke Times on BJ Farrow, an under-the-radar WR recruit from Lynchburg Christian Academy (same as Demetri Knowles). He'll be at VT's camp this weekend, and LCA's Coach Rocco is raving about him as the "best WR he's coached in 10 years".
Yes, Coach Rocco is Mike Rocco's dad, and had some interesting insight on the Phillips Sims transferring to UVA / WTF QB Rotation / Mike Rocco transferring out of UVA / Phillip Sims leaving UVA fiasco.
....2014 could still very well be one of VT's best recruiting classes. We have an opportunity to fill several need positions with very high quality players with the remaining scholarships we have available. We have a reasonable shot to land the following players that we are pursuing:
Alabama's new locker room features an ARCADE???
I will always love our work ethic when it comes to football. All this relaxation for Bama should be enough for us to #BEATBAMA!
Here is an instagram video of Bama offensive tackle Brandon Hill.
Oh and here's that new waterfall they installed that Cornwell talked about:
The little shits don't have to go through the lottery anymore. Thoughts?

Editor's note: Hokie Wartooth was all over this as my head was buried underneath a remote desktop connection configuring the new server (8 cores, 16 GBs of ram!). HokieHaven.com spoke with Pettit—he lauds Tech, and says he's firm on his commitment. Pettit's versatility on the field is impressive, and so are offers from Harvard and Yale. Brains and physical tools are the ultimate combination in football. Finally, how about the job Jeff Grimes is doing on the recruiting trail?
I entered VT as a freshman in 2004. I came from out of state, and was told of the rivalry with UVA, but had never experienced it in person. Regardless, I left thanksgiving break early and headed back to Blacksburg in time for my first Commonwealth Cup. The campus was buzzing. Everyone was fired up. I was fired up. Both teams were ranked, and the Hokies won 24-10. Hooray, in-state rivalries. It was fun, and I looked forward to the energy and excitement that the Commonwealth Cup brought in future years.
My sophomore year we won 52-14.
