I definitely did that during the '11 ACC Championship. She was on the field pre-game making a video and there was nobody in the stadium. The band was there just wasting time. So I saw her down there and screamed her name. Then the rest of the band started yelling during her video.
Those of you who followed me in my early days on the Twitters know I used to be a very vocal HD hater. I have since found better ways of using my time, because that woman is simply not worth it.
She trolls for page views (and I mean no ACC team is excluded) because she can't boost her readership any other way. She doesn't break news, she doesn't provide advanced stats, film reviews, or unique opinions. Stop bringing her up for the benefit of everyone.
for quite a while, and getting sufficiently annoyed w/HD, I bookmarked all of the staff writers and blogs she links to (which is how she gets most of her info) that I found interesting, so now I spend minimal time reading (or listening to) HD.
I'm pretty sure his contract is up in two years, three years tops and he has already said he is retiring when his contract is up. I believe Tom Gabbard is following suit as well.
For one horrible minute I was almost expecting some bad joke about how his health is already taking care of that.
Seriously though, I'm very much OK with how he runs the program at this point, at the very least from a financial standpoint. Last thing I want is to end up like Tennessee, hiring hotshot coaches every few years and running the athletic department broke in the process.
Yea, he's done ok with the football program. But his handling of the basketball program has been an absolute disgrace. Why would anyone wanna coach here when the AD is so clueless about the sport?
I'm sure I'm not the only one who enjoyed having Andrea Adelson along for the ride this season on that blog. She was actually pretty good, even though she was splitting time with the Big (L)East/USA/Goodwill Conference.
Also, wouldn't it be so #goacc if we replaced Dinich with her?
I don't read the ESPN blogs and I tend to stay away from the site. I've read a couple of articles in the past few months, mostly Heather's really bad ones. Adelson is okay. Better than HD. I always wonder why AA was brought on. Was Dinich doing a bad job?

How I imagine HD writing her blogs
#FireHD
AND
Aside from being a terrible writer, she also has the most annoying voice I've ever heard.
I know plenty of non-Hokie fans that want her gone too. We like to punk her during live chats.

hahaha
I was there! And now I know that this is Chris Baumann! haha
After she failed epicly in her video, she turned around and gave us a wave...
Guilty as charged. Who is this??
yall could just stop reading her stuff. . .
Been saying this forever
She sucks, we all know she sucks, why boost her page views by reading and complaining? I forget she exists until someone on here brings her up.
Because it's fun to smack-talk with Noles & Canes on ESPN.
I can't think of anything
That's less fun than giving HD hits and smack talking illiterate FSU and UM fans.
A turkey leg for you
solely on the strength of your avi.

So
what you're saying is she can't be The Key Play.
Someone was trying to tell me all about the new scoreboard last night and my response was "I know more than you, I read thekeyplay.com"
Much obliged, and appreciated.
Shots for everyone!
...?!
What sorcery is this?!

Y'all be nice to Heather Dinich now. She is, after all, the love child of Al Groh and Mike London, y'all.
Edit: Come on, -3? Don't y'all know I was being sarcastic?
I think we should start a #FireWeaver movement

no bad jokes
His health is the reason this is his last contract, otherwise he had done well financially.

I think it's more that AA is about to lose the Big East blog, and it seems like they are doubling up on more of the conferences now.
Though if they are preparing for the day when HD is no longer there, that would be awesome.
