Was he a silent?

nope

So just out of curiosity, how much should I temper my expectations for the three silents? Should I be happy, really excited, or freaking bouncing off the wall?

keep it at happy. I don't know your level of expectations. I don't want to set the hype too high for you and leave you either gassed or looking for more.

First year following the 'cruiting. So, we still have 3 silents coming?

All Maroon, all the time!

No firsthand sauces here but word from multiple spots is "no".

Which is cool I guess.

It's definitely cool

Hell yeah

Always happy to see a recruit in #ALLMAROONEVERYTHING

It's Time to go to Work

Well.... Shoulder stripes, so not #everything

Is it football season yet?

Welcome to Hokie Nation Norell! It doesn't look like he has the size to replace Walker or Mihota for early PT but hopefully will develop into a stud. If we can grab Ad. Jones and Kendricks that a solid DT pull. Wish we could grab Ellies too but know numbers are tight.

Walker and Mihota will be graduating

1000% Committed I'm assuming is 890% better than 110% committed?

Technically it's 809% better than 110%. ;^)

I had just finished my last drink of the night when I got a Twitter notification that Coach Fuente had tweeted something.

Now I'm having another last drink of the night.

Congrats to Norell.

This recruiting class is shaping up nicely!

Big guy that moves well. I think he'll play sooner rather than later. Welcome to the fam Norell!!

Liking his athleticism and offer list.

I hope he wears #16 as a DT.

Probably because it sounds scary.

Five star get after it 100 percent Juice Key-Playing. MAN

So what's ge projection on how big this guy can play? Does he have the frame to hit 290+ and eat some space, or is he going to have to carve a Corey Marshall type niche, playing small but ultra quick?

260 with a full year of high school left. He could definitely get to 280-290 after a year or 2 in our lifting system. If he keeps the quickness is a different story

French - how do you feel about this "get"? I think uts a good pull and he's a good talent (especially if his Twitter buddy comes, too), but a bit longer (less compact) than Wiles usually prefers. How do you think he fits in the system?
