Beat the Heat: Schedule Your AC Maintenance with Blue Ridge Heating and Air Conditioning

Disclosure: This is a paid post sponsored by Blue Ridge Heating and Air Conditioning.

Hey TKP! How's everyone doing these days?

Hopefully you all remember my advertisement back in the fall. We received a lot of interest and had a few calls come our way which was fantastic. Heating and winter are generally HVAC's slow season with not a lot going on. Spring and summer... well that's not the case.

The task of cooling off a hot and humid NOVA summer makes this go time for us. Are you sure your system is running properly? Have you noticed a temperature change or reduction of airflow in certain rooms? Does the air feel warmer than what the thermostat says?

Now's the time to have Blue Ridge Heating and Air Conditioning come out and check your system before the heavy summer workload. We are running a special for 25% off our regular system check this summer for anyone who mentions they received our information from The Key Play.

That service includes making sure your AC is running at its best to insure proper cooling, ventilation, and drainage. Checking the charge, your filters, your drain, motors, etc. Providing an overview of any maintenance or issues and answering the most important question on a homeowner's mind: Should I plan for a replacement in the near future?

Get everything checked out for only $70 and have the peace of mind for a cool summer ahead.

As always, if you have any HVAC questions, send them my way in the comments below.

Until then, have a great summer and go Hokies!

Forwarded this along to the upper management in my household. Hopefully the purchase order get's approved 😜

Makes sense! I usually have to do the same!

A big thanks to Trent and Blue Ridge Heating & Air. He checked out our 20yr old system and gave us honest feedback on if it'll make it 1 more season, cleaned/replaced filters and drain valves, and talked us through what our questions should be when we finally need to get replacement quotes (soon).

He was also extremely patient with the 5 yr old boy who was super-excited to see all the tools. I highly recommend them for folks in NoVA if you don't already have a HVAC guy on speed dial.

It was a pleasure!

I we lived in the NRV, we would certainly give them a call. Since we live in the Rimac river valley (Google it geography buffs) I won't expect house calls here.

So tell me.... What the heck is it like celebrating Christmas in the middle of summer??

Kind of like when I lived in Florida, although here Christmas is the beginning of summer vacation season. Once the holidays are over, everyone heads to the beach for vacation all through January. Kind of like Europe in August. You get used to it.

I live in NC but this is more of a testament to having a biannual servicing of your units. It has kept my $200 dollar problems from becoming $5,000 problems on multiple occasions.

+1 to this.

Have a family friend in HVAC who I have come out yearly, and he's caught a couple things that have saved major headaches in the future.
