Just chiming in to say that UNC and Pitt are now going to OT
Also, how hard is everyone smashing the parlay button on Clemson/UCONN this week? This Clemson team by -41? O/U 51? Smashing UCONN to cover and taking the under.

Game Guide
Damn. I turned that game off after a failed 4th down attempt think UNC was dead in the water. They still lost, but I'm amazed they got it to overtime.
A lot of NFL scouts there to checkout Pickett and Howell.
Pitt tried to shit the bed and almost did but they got just enough to get it to OT.
Side note Cam'ron "800 Percent" Kelly had a interception right at the end of the 4th quarter that wouldve gotten them in FG range with little time left but he 1000% dropped it.
You 10,000% hate to see it.
hmm, his phone battery must have been low, does UNC not have places to charge your phone during the game?
I'm looking at today's lineup, and looking at all the leaves on my lawn, and I'm actually debating which will be more fruitful and enjoyable use of my time... Maybe A&M and Ole Miss to finish the night? I feel bad for NC St. and Wake being relegated to ACCN instead of ABC or even ESPN2, but because ND is playing (doesn't even matter Hoo they are playing) they get the prime spot.
To each their own, I guess. I like today's lineup quite a bit. I'll be using three screens for the noon lineup for sure.
Baylor and OU could be interesting I guess... but what are the other 2 you'll be tuning in to? Clemson and UConn just to see if the Tigers can cover the spread?
Baylor-OU, Mich-PSU, and Auburn-Miss St. I'll probably flip to the Bama game occasionally in the first half because I enjoy watching Bryce Young play but idk if he will be playing for long.
I also realize most people don't care about all these random games as much as I do, and that's probably more normal than the way I watch college football lol.
So UConn is busy searching for ways to end the game now against Clemson. 7-0 UCONN over Clemson.
Bwa-ha-haha-ha! The Clemson wing of my family must be having convulsions of disbelief right now being down to UCan't. Precious schadenfreude 😁
I took UConn today getting 41 points. They will lose but I don't know if this Clemson team has 48+ in em.
Also took Penn St getting 2.5, and I think they beat Michigan outright
Lol Penn state out thinking themselves with that fake. Either punch it in or kick it
If I'm Franklin I'm taking the next big job that offers. Get paid while you can.
3 win Samford giving UF all that can handle.
Apparently firing half his staff this week wasn't the fix to the problem
Yeah, this ain't good for anyone on the #NapiertoVT train. Mullen is for sure gonna get fired and there's no way both LSU and UF would pass over Napier.
That team quit on him. Must be a real weak culture there to be honest. They have shown their ceiling is extremely high with their talent the last couple years, but he hasn't been able to consistently motivate that team.
Yeah this might be the best example of the defense quitting I've ever seen.
I'll be watching the VT game and Hooker balling out against Georgia, right now watching Louisville take one ACC win against us and one against BC Syracuse behind the woodshed so just your usual Fire Fuente Saturday viewing.
Florida is on fire regardless if they win or lose mullen is toast and I gotta say I want nothing to do with him if he's available. FCS team in the swamp and Florida can't defend the wind
Keep Mullen away
Curious to see if Riley brings rattler out of the bullpen if Williams continues to struggle so much
Following series rattler is in, didn't take long
Why did ESPN get rid of Goalline? This season with all the close games and upsets would have been perfect for it.
Huge fan and backer of the outlaw Brian Kelly as he plays in C-vile tonite
This PSU-Mich game has gotten really interesting in the 4th.
Penn State pulling a CornFu on that 4th and 2 playcall
Baylor made Oklahoma come back out on the field so they could kick a field goal to go up by ten instead of win by 7. Love it.
They finally got the loss that's been coming and gotta say by bring rattler back in Oklahoma has gotten a bit of a mess on their hands now
Taking Caleb WIlliams out when he was struggling was just Riley being consistent imo. He treated Rattler the same way, and I actually thought it was cool that he held Caleb Williams to the same standard. I think the way he handled that is actually the best way to handle the locker room.
Keeping tabs on UL-Lafayette and Marshall games for Napier and Huff. Louisiana winning, looking solid but not spectacular vs Troy in the third. Marshall tied 14 all with UAB in the third. I really like Huff and his potential but I don't think one year of HC experience, 6-3 and struggling against UAB is going to be convincing enough. Napier seems like the best bet with potential, recruiting, coaching networking, and experience.
Penn State losing again!
Me feeling like this, again :-)
Does that make it nine straight losses to top 10 teams for penn state now?
Damn, that's worse than us
Rivals watching this evening
Miami coming all the way back and now FSU takes the lead late.
UVA will be without Armstrong he tried to warm up but then went in and probably won't play.
RGIII is a pretty good commentator.
That was a massive coaching mistake by Miami to not even get a chance.
Not gonna lie I had no idea that was a rule and I'm 28 years old and watched this stuff religiously every year
Miami is beatable and UVa is a good matchup imo.
Regardless of how I feel about the coaching staff it would be great to win the last two games.
I'm hoping these last few games will be similar to the ones after Beamer announced his retirement. No more pressure, just have the team rally together and have fun playing.
Methinks Miami losing tonight helps us next week-high chance of them being checked out
Praying they don't play mad after that loss but hopefully being eliminated from coastal contention they will have checked out
Really really struggling with the concept of watching UVA football primetime on ABC in week 10.
If Herbie and Fowler aren't there it ain't primetime
Herbie and Fowler are calling TAMU-Ole Miss on ESPN. They even called it ESPN prime time football, so I guess it may just be wherever they send their A team broadcast crew.
UVAh losing by 50 would be a great way to round out the day
Not watching the game but I see Armstrong is out for UVA. Did they say anything about his injury? / Are his ribs actually broken?
I have seen nothing official so far he looked very uncomfortable throwing the ball but still was mobile so probably not broken
They're pretty tight-lipped about the whole thing, but he was out there tossing the ball about in warmups.
So I fully expect to see him back this year.
But that final score vs Notre Dame shows how much difference a decent quarterback makes.
Texas is currently losing to Kansas 21-14 in the 2nd. Texas is such a weird ass team these days
28-14 with a minute left in the half
35-14 after a big time pick six. Sarkesian probably dreaming of the good ol days at a program that could actually play well. Texas is on a downward trajectory in an intense way now
42-21 with 8 to go in the third. Texas scored quickly but kansas answered and this continues to trend HORNS DOWN
Wake playing Sandman at their game. Could this be a sign? /s
They've been playing sandman for at least a decade. Went to a game there back in 2010 and they played it. I was a little offended. But we won so who cares. Those were better days....
So it has been a sign for a while. They're trying to warm up a coach for us.
Bummed Iowa State lost. But when you have:
VT winning
UVa gettuing pummeled
Penn State losing
I cannot get too down.
Good night all and wishing you all the best.
Oh damn they lost to new coach Texas Tech as well. I totally missed that result.
62 yard FG and my dad's old school goes down :-(.
Sigh. I have adopted the Cyclones with the Fuente-fueled swoon to VT.
That's a tough one to adopt, but makes sense with it being your dad's old school. Iowa St with their talent discrepancy is basically just the better version of Fuente. You operate with slim margins if you want to be consistently good without substantially increased talent.
Watching Wake NC State but about to switch over to see Kansas beat Texas. Again.
Today was a very good day
Texas. Yikes.
Texas gets the ball back under a minute and manages to score to tie it up 49-49 with 22 seconds left. Kansas will have no timeouts so it's likely headed to OT.
David goes for 2...
Down goes Goliath.
This NC State-Wake game is insanely good. Has been close from start to finish. If Wake wins they can completely drop the game to Clemson and still clinch the division by beating BC. NC State winning puts them in the driver seat by simply winning out. Huge game for these two.
Kansas beats Texas on a 2pt conversion in the first OT 57-56!
Such sweet schaudenfreude!
Sark could have made 2m+/yr as the OC for Bama for the next 5-10 years and he chose to deal with being the head coach at Texas... I would not have made that same choice lol.
Texas paid a boat load of cash to get rid of Herman and they ended up worse. UT Twitter is loaded with people wishing he was back.
I think that's a reactionary take. The shitty culture, these players that don't care about winning (I don't know how many here saw the video of them cutting up and laughing after getting blown out by Iowa St on the bus), is on Herman and his staff. Sark needs a few years for a full culture rebuild with his guys. I'm not saying Sark is absolutely the answer, but what he's working with right now is an established crop of players who are more defined by the previous regime than the less than full year of Sark so far.
Wow this 2pt conversion call whether the ball went 10 yards or not on the NC State recovery... Feel terrible for NC State because I think he grabbed it early... but it's within 6 inches either way.
So close I thought he had it
Yeah it's hard to tell exactly when he touched the ball, and it was so damn close. I think that probably stands as called if the initial call goes either way. Wake Forest got the benefit on that one.
Quiet week, only 1 ranked team (Auburn) beaten by an unranked, 3 ranked teams lose to lower ranked teams and 5 ranked teams lost total.
Watching Texas shit the bed was a perfect cap to an eventful day. Oklahoma loses, Penn state loses, UVA loses on national tv, Miami loses it was a good day
Agreed, its just not as chaotic as the past couple of weeks. The committee ranked Purdue so OSU would win. Baylor was favored too. But yes all the team I like seeing losing lost.
