101 miles...is one mile too many!
I can see him as the first Horkie drafted in 2022 draft either in the first or at worst early second round.
Nothing against all other Hokies that declared for the draft (hope they get drafted and do well in the NFL), mainly see most picks in the first round be OL/DL and Brock was solid (would love to see the Iggles draft him).
Drafted? Ok, I'll buy that (sort of). But I'm not remotely seeing him going in the top 50.
I didn't even realize he was eligible to stay. Nevertheless, I don't see much to be gained for him by staying. Hope it works out for him.
First or second round ?!?! I'd love for any of our guys get drafted high . Realistically not gonna happen till day 3
As a Giants fan I want to see the Iggles draft him too.
Hard disagree. Brock regressed significantly this year. His athleticism is below average even for an interior lineman. I think he's a 5th or 6th round pick, at best, maybe a reach 4th, but it's very possible he goes undrafted and signs as a FA.
Looking back I think I was being optimistic.
Sorry about that, I hit the sauce early and hard yesterday while excited to play the Halo Infinite campaign. My mood becomes brighter (and I become sleepy) while drunk. Do hope he does well in the next level.
I don't think he'll be drafted that high but I gotta say the word Horkie made me spit out my drink
Good luck to him. Time to get paid.
I'm sorry, I haven't seen anything much from those declaring that leads me to believe VT draft days will turn out any different than the way they have the last several years. I am all for guys doing "what is right", etc., but the NFL talent on this team now is pretty low. Next year unless there is portal-mania, good-grief...
We haven't been churning out draft picks like we once did, but we've had 16 guys drafted since 2016. 2019 was a tough pill to swallow because that was the first year we didn't have anyone drafted since 1993, but we've been putting guys in the league. They've had varying success after being drafted, but IMO the past several years are rosier than the picture you painted.
Yeah i think Waller, Barno and maybe Tre are the only draftees in 2022
James Mitchell has entered the chat...
Yeah he'll probably be a 4-6 round guy too. But I highly doubt any more than 4 players from this team are drafted, if I had to bet I'd say 3.
I think Brock and Lecitus Smith may get drafted in the later rounds as it's had to teach size. I see Mitchell and Waller as the only definite draftees. Past that, Barno may get a flyer as a mid-late draft OLB prospect, especially if his combine measurables confirm he is the Tremaine Edmunds-like athletic freak we all know that he is. I love Turner and I think if he has a great combine he gets picked 2nd half, but if not then it could get iffy. I think Isaiah Ford's recent on-field success may help out Turner's stock as I see them as very similar, except that maybe Tre' can do a little more after the catch.
i think Lecitus Smith will be drafted as well. I am not sure we have anyone that will go before the 4th or 5th round though.
Kid went through a lot to play for us, was ineligible for a year but stuck it out nonetheless. I was interested to see what would have happened with Brock and Chadwell but that never panned out. Best of luck and thank you!
