I was in the book at the venetian and there was an old guy wearing a cuse shirt in the back bitching about the refs. When he tried to engage with me my answer was 'lolaccrefs on the road, tell me it'd be different in the carrier dome'. He laughed and bought wife and I a round.

Was watching it out of town with some friends. One has a 'Cuse license plate cover, bumper sticker, shirt on, the works. We were both treading lightly out of respect/fear til the end. I turned it off with 10 seconds left and he poured the bourbon. Its nice when your team does the talking for you.

Is Mutts the most valuable athlete that VT athletics has acquired from the transfer portal? In my overall opinion, yes. I can see arguments for both Khalil Herbert and Raheem Blackshear, but if I had to choose one today, it would be Mutts. Feel free to disagree, and I realize that it's 🍎 and 🍊 to a degree since they play different sports.

I would argue Keve Aluma has been more valuable and consistent. Teams have to account for him which gives Mutts a lot more room. Neither of those guys do as well when the other is on the bench it seems but that could just be my biased observation.

Also only 4 turnovers by the Hokies against the zone, with 12 for Syracuse.

I know point totals get the attention, but did Mutts just play the best game in VT basketball history?
Probably recency bias, but I'd say it has to be up there? The Justin Robinson game where he set the 3 point record has to be up there too.
It's gotta be up there. Definitely the "better" triple double of the now two in VT history imo, as it came in the ACC instead of vs the citadel
