So, this is obviously just a dream, but I thought it pertinent and fantastic if it turns prophetic.
Last night, in my dream, I watched the National Championship Game. For the second year in a row, the ACC beat a SEC team to win the Championship.
The game was Hokies versus Tigers (LSU).
We did not have a perfect season. However, after narrowly losing to Ohio State, we went on a domination tour of all of our opponents, beating an, until then, undefeated Florida State team that were the favorites to repeat for National Championship (and number one team).
It was beautiful, and seeing Beamer lift that crystal ball brought tears to my eyes, as FINALLY, he had it.
Alas...only a dream. But a good dream.
