Gonna level with you. I'm not super familiar with maritime signal flags. While I did figure out that the combination "BZ" means "well done" initially I had searched for the flag meanings separately. The ICS meanings I came up with were "I am discharging dangerous goods" and "I require a tug."
I was really concerned that B.Street was proposing a hand job and had the herps or something. Further research is helpful sometimes.

France may still do it this way, but the kilogram and meter are no longer tied to physical references. The kilogram is now defined by a precise measurement of Planck's constant (a quantum constant that relates electromagnetic energy to mass). And a meter is based on the speed of light in a vacuum (which also means a precise measure of time is required).
