How many people in the DMV would be interested in attending a watch party at a bar somewhere in Arlington, VA?
I also have a lot of TKP pint glasses in my garage I want to unload.
Edit: Not to watch Vandy, but just at some point this season.

I would be interested. To be clear, are we talking about a specific game at this point or just the general idea?
Just a general idea, I think it'd have to be a late October or November game because of my children's sports calendar I am beholden to.
Gotta pic of this pint glass? I can't be there but would be interested in seeing what these said glasses look like.
These are the ones from a few years ago and I'm assuming it's the same ones.
I would drink brews out of those.
Yup those are them. I would bring them all to give away.
Give away? We're all gonna buy you a pint for each glass, you're not gonna remember a whole lot of the game, make sure to have your wife's number some where we can access cause you're not driving after this.
Mine have been in heavy rotation at our house for years
Will be at a house at Lake Anna drunkenly screaming at the TV by myself while the rest of my family is on the lake.
I mean, I could help you offload a pint glass or two if you wanna ship any my way
I'd go broke shipping them. That's why I want to give them away in person.
Pending what they look like, I would take a set of 2 or 4 and pay your shipping fee.
Seconded
Thirded
I would also pay for shipping and tack on enough to buy you a beer.
Ditto.
THIS^^^^^!!!
Yes, I can be bribed with a pint glass, I'm a simple man
P.S. I hate traffic and parking, so sone place with good parking would help
I could possibly make it depending on the date/game. I could probably talk ElktonHokie into it as well
I'm interested enough where I'd consider making the drive down for the weekend
Possible....I'm curious.
I'd consider paying shipping for a few pint glasses
Late October / early November is doable for me. Would love to have a reason to hit up First Down for a game watch.
I'm interested, but with young kids, I usually can't commit until the day of.
Same. Would absolutely be interested but would not know for sure until the day of
Definitely interested. Even more so if the bar ends up being First Down
Interested in going as well and I could always add more pint glasses to my collection.
My Macados and Sharkeys pint glasses are finally faded from going through dishwashers for 17+ years.
Definitely interested. I'm up in Laurel, MD.
I'm in. Pint glasses are icing on the cake. Would love to add one to my glass collection. It would be great to meet a bunch of TKP'ers.
Kids are older and mostly gone.
Great call Joe.
Oooh, I could be down for this! Been a while since I've watched a game with TKPers
Consider me interested...
I'm interested in that. Haven't had much of a chance to meet some fellow TKP'ers
Just make sure you sign up with a sign that says "I am Big Perm" so that they look at you funny and not realize what it means.
Perhaps I'll just perm my hair to help people figure it out
I may show up with a shirt that says GOBBLE GOBBLE 🤷♂️
"bitches"
nope, i literally have a t shirt that just says GOBBLE GOBBLE
I believe it. In fact, I'd have been surprised if you had the "gobble gobble bitches" shirt. I had a buddy who had that one tho. It was funny in college. Not sure it's aged well
It was however the inspiration for the username, and the tee i have was a gift from an irl friend after the username was well established
I'm definitely interested. Maybe not for Vandy, as that's the wife's weekend to work (every third weekend), and I'm not sure about bringing a couple of teen/pre-teen girls into a bar to watch a game. But I'm definitely down for a watch party. Would even buy a TKP pint glass or two.
I would suggest looking at Ballston Local - DC Hokies used to have their watch parties there until they moved to Renegade. Great bar, reasonable prices, and literally located in bottom of the Virginia Tech Research Center. Has been our favorite bar to go watch Hokies games since they opened a few years ago and the owners are very easy to work with for events
Are there many farther out?
2 Silos is has plenty of room, especially if it's a nice day and everyone's outside, but I recognize Manassas is a hike for anyone coming from MD or closer to DC.
Is there interest in meeting outside the beltaway? Say Fairfax, Reston, Leesburg, Woodbridge, etc.?
Or Fredericksburg? I'd suggest King George, but we don't really have any decent watering holes to take over for a game watching party.
There is literally every legal chain restaurant in America in Central Park, so I'm sure there will be a game on in there somewhere!! :)
I'm good for anything west, leesburg, reston both good, Manassas is just as far as Arlington so that's good too.
You sure we can't just meet up and watch other teams play?
Might want to do this if we're on ESPN+ again, that way we don't have the announcers trying to talk over us.
