Fire Marve. Absolutely terrible coach. Fire him today.
Bowen coached himself a hell of a game and didn't deserve this result. 21-3 lead choked away by some of the worst collective defensive play that VT has seen since Bud retired.
Flat out unacceptable. Marve has to go. He's completely in over his head. A first year coaching staff abused him today.

Pry is allergic/incompetent to winning close games. Defense (Marve) let the team down.
ACC refs should Hawk Tuah a CACTUS to completion
I hate sports fandom, absolutely hate it.
Pry should have gone for the win at the end of regulation. That was just chicken shit.
Brent Pry is incapable of winning close games and at this point I don't think he is ever going to be able to do it. How many times does he have to lose games after playing not to lose?
Pry just has no clue how to coach and manage a game in order to avoid these close situations. And most of his staff is just as green and unable to put the team is a position to win.
You manage the clock better at the end of the first half, that's a TD or FG at worst. You at least attempt something with time and timeouts at the end of the second with a great kicker and we can ice it there.
He would have if we get at least a field goal to end the second quarter.
Replay clearly shows elbow down before ball comes out. Call stands. The ACC refs HATE us.
Fuck ACC officiating. The end of the second quarter should cost someone their job!
Brent pry allowed the clock to run out with 2 timouts in his pocket
We can beat pry to death for his game management, but he had nothing to do with bad officiating at the end of second quarter.
Now, maybe I don't know the rules, but we called a timeout after Schlee runs but his knee was down. Do we get that timeout back? Or no.
If we have two timeouts, we can use one to avoid the ten sec run off because of bad officiating.
Are we not allowed to use the final timeout for that same purpose?
We had the ball with over a minute to go and Pry made the decision to run out the clock but then after two huge runs was left with 18 seconds.
The refs took over from there but it absolutely is on Pry. He knew Syracuse was getting the ball at the start of the second half and decided to give up a possession. All the bullshit with the refs doesn't keep us from scoring if he hadn't wasted almost a minute watching the clock tick down.
He didn't have two timeouts. Just one but they ran the clock down and wouldn't let him use the timeout. The refs should have been fired over that alone. They gave us the Business.
We had two timeouts because we called one after Schlee made the big run then timeout, then the overturn, is that timeout not given back?
Why I said they gave us the business. We called timeout after the big run. They reversed the big run and started the clock again ignoring that we had called timeout. They also ran off 11 seconds.
That crew should be fired.
That screw job by the refs at the end of the half....
Bowen puts up 31 with a backup QB and RB, and what does Marve do? Piss his pants.
Third and fourth string RB's
Horrendous clock management at the end of both halves.
At the end of regulation... 30 seconds, 3 time outs, a kicker who can make from nearly 60... and you play for overtime? You think an injured Schlee is going to go TD for TD with McCord? Are we joking?
You're wrong, Marve kept this team in it while the offense blew multiple chances to pull Cuse away.
Marve's defense didn't make a single adjustment. They played a good first half and then got butt punched when it mattered and did nothing about it.
Reminder we apparently have 3-4 all acc players on defense. We were missing a starting LT, starting RB and starting QB.... They put up 31 points.
Fuck that noise, the offense was without the starting QB, RB and LT. To have scored 31 points with that is an amazing job that the defense pissed away
Chaplin played fwiw
The offense was playing with their 2nd string QB and RB. There's only so much you can expect from them. I would argue 31 points from them should be enough. Eventually the defense needs to step up.
That was the third and fourth string RB's. The backup got injured a couple weeks ago.
(Not being combative here at all) Did PJ supplant Thomas for RB2? I just pictured him as more of a change of pace back who happened to get hurt. If I'm wrong then totally agree.
Yes, by third game of season PJ had definitely replaced Thomas as RB2.
Must not downvote for opinions no matter how wrong they are.
Chris Marve should have to walk home and read about defensive adjustments.
Just a heads up. We're not allowed to wish this team to walk home from games.
I didn't wish the bus to crash there's a big distinction there
Just cuz I said the word "crash" people interpret it as "drive off a cliff and explode"
A minor fender bender would've implied the same result.
But it's ok, some people just over react to everything and assume the worst which is on them.
go home dude
Could 'bus breaks down' be a reasonable substitute?
I haven't even said anything bad or harmful towards anyone, this is amusing.
Sorry, tbh I'm not even sure what I just jumped into. Is there background I'm missing?
Take the hint and stop antagonizing the community.
This wasn't a coaches loss, this was a players loss...our starting QB and RB were out. We should've won this game but it's not because of the coaches...Schlee holds on to that ball in OT and it's a TD.
I've gotta see whatever game you watched.
One play in particular you should watch. Should be easy to find, it was during the VT offensive series in overtime.
That's what he's talking about.
Edit: to be clear, my initial reaction was that he should have run it in, but this before I realized how banged up he was. Now that I realize how banged up he was, I'm thinking Pop Watson should have been in.
Yeah the back up qb made a poor decision. That's par for the course welcome to college football. He also scored plenty of points to win
He got lit up earlier in the game and was hearing footsteps. Understandable for a backup.
But the game should have been long over before then. Defense shat the bed and cost us what should have been a comfortable win.
Yeah, it wasn't clear to me how banged up he was until that series, where he was visibly limping.
He did a fantastic job in that game, and it should have been enough to win it. They certainly should have tried to score before the half ended instead of going to overtime.
Hard disagree... this is on the coaches.
Hard disagree. Clock management at the end of the halves took 6-10 points off the board.
Hard to blame him for the refs fucking us over at the end of the first half. They ran 11 seconds off the clock before telling Pry they reversed the play and started the clock.
He did fuck up by not even trying before the end of the second. We had a QB that could actually throw the long ball.
He called a timout on the same play already. He didnt argue his point well at all and allowed himself to be taken advantage of
They ignored the fact that he had called the Timeout and ran off 11 seconds. We had called a timeout.
Clone is referring to the OT play where Schlee should have run it in instead of throwing a difficult pass. He would have scored a TD or damn close.
It's not the only reaaaon but just one of several factors where we beat ourselves to give our opponent the victory.
It was still a coaches loss. The backup players had the ball taken away by Pry at the end of both halves. STOP PLAYING CHICKENSHIT SCARED "SAFE" FOOTBALL. Play to WIN.
Someone needs to get fired. Pry needs to be crucified on whatever talk show he goes on this week. Horrific play by the offense last game and a total collapse of the defense this week. The "aw, shucks" attitude needs to fucking go and Pry needs to find his balls and make a big boy decision whether he wants to be a FBS head coach or a cheerleader.
Yup season is an officially a throw away now. Got ahead and get ahead with program changes
Hardly a throwaway unless Drones and Tuten are done for year.
We can win another game and go to some no name bowl with the best roster we've had in 6+ years. Seems pretty throw away to me.
I need to make a guest appearance on the next call in radio show.
I think that was the worst OT performance I have ever seen on both sides of the ball. Continuing the year's theme, the game management decisions made by the coaches continue to look fearful and amateurish.
The offensive play calling in OT was fine, Schlee just didn't run for the walk-in TD for some unknown reason. The play was there.
Defensively, we aren't even in the same zip code of where the plays are run.
So how is that the coaches fault??? Since you all are blaming the staff...
If it wasn't for the coaches deciding to do nothing with possessions at the end of each half we likely score at least once, making OT unnecessary. Not the first time this season Pry has played scared football rather than to WIN.
OT was avoidable at least 4 different instances.
Initially I thought Vandy was a worse OT performance but this honestly approached that in our willingness to run a clearly injured QB instead of doing anything else
2024 Syracuse scored on just 2 RUNNING plays in OT.
Can't win close games, can't tackle, can't hold a lead
Which is why we should avoid overtimes if at all possible, instead of running towards them like we own them.
Blegh. Rest up. Get healthy. Great performance by Bowen to put together a competent game plan with all of his best players out.
Acc refs... I'd call collusion but I know acc leadership isn't competent enough to actually do that.
Marve... the Marve defense is basically get a sack or get got. No in between. Time for an upgrade.
Cuse OC clearly saw an opening to exploit. They started running the ball down our throat in the second half.
Do you think we could petition the ACC to play the first quarter, the second quarter, the first quarter again, and then the fourth quarter? The third quarter is not our friend.
The numbers look good but we failed to possess the ball or the end zone in OT
Pry has Les Miles disease (lesmilesius londonii)...symptoms are a remarkable lack of awareness and random decisions in key moments
Uh, Les Miles has a national title.
Pry won't ever get one of those.
Such a bummer to waste refreshingly strong performances from Schlee and Thomas. I was so excited to FAM about VT finally having a backup QB looking for the most part ready to play in that situation (despite that critical OT poor decision not to run for the end zone). Just when I was ready to compliment the coaching staff for that preparation, we had to see the in game coaching errors and critical poor decision making again, leaving another very winnable game in the hands of questionable officiating. Unbelievably frustrating.
delete double post
Marve and Pry have ten cent heads. Blow up that fucking dome
Total defensive collapse. Can't lie to the homies.
Just getting back. Checking in with the group. Should I just delete the recording or watch it?
It's worth watching the first quarter. Schlee's a good backup QB and we still have some more running backs after Tuten. Thomas has a pulse.
If you watch the second quarter your blood pressure will rise and you'll be mad.
If you watch the second half you'll be furious.
So, you know, your call.
It's worth watching to see an excellent game called by Bowen.
But Marve and Pry will piss you off more than you thought was possible
Watch it, by all means. Lot to like, lot to piss you off, but it was frustratingly interesting and to me, well worth the look. If you didn't know what happened already, you'd probably call it exciting.
Then come back here and gripe about the coaching, refs, and all that, but you'll at least know what everybody's ranting about
And as long as people are talking about it, if you are going to fire Pry this year, and it's looking like we probably should, Whit has to go as well. This would be 2 failed head coaches in football in 10 years, he doesn't deserve a 3rd
Whit needs to go 1st. Let the next guy give Pry the ultimatum of "win now or pack your shit" and go from there.
Honestly. I've wanted Whit gone longer, he needs to get the ax first
And clean house with pretty much all of the athletics department. Bring in flesh blood who aren't stuck in the muck and mire of how things were done in the late 90s/00s. I know there will be some casualties with good people losing their jobs unfairly, but at this point I would much rather start fresh with a completely new identity and way of running things that actually comes close to being what we need for the new cut-throat reality of college football.
You start by telling Ballein to pack his fucking shit, but with how dumb our BOV is, they'll probably let that snake oil salesman lead the committee to interview a new AD and coach
It would be the most VT thing ever if Pry is let go, then VT turns around and hires Shane after he's fired from South Carolina.
And then cuts the budget for assistants
I don't know why anyone thinks anything other than this is exactly what's going to happen.
Idk if they fire him yet. He just housed a really good aTm squad...
They are not going to fire Shane. Most of the folks love him down there and he's putting together a nice season.
Yeah I agree. They'll give him another at least year, likely two IMO. They are a well coached squad and really close to being much better record-wise. SEC donors aren't stupid
This fanbase deserves better.
I have friends asking me to come to the Clemson game. What's the point? If I had free tix I wouldn't go. A decade ago there's no chance I would turn down the opportunity to go to a game like that, even if I had to pay lots of $$$.
I didn't care to watch today. I worked on my laptop instead. Listened to the 4th quarter on radio. (Roth is starting to lose it by the way, lots of mixing up words.) What an embarrassment. It's wild that these are the performances we get in the big year, returning 20 starters and keeping all of our potential talent from leaving. I've got to imagine a lot of VT fans feel the same way as me.
This program is dying.
It's not dying but the captain of the ship (Whit) has proven himself incredibly incompetent
Replace him with someone who has a history of actually managing a department heavily reliant upon football rather than trying to waste money in who gives a shit non rec sports and we can be good again in a hurry
Where is the athletic department going to get the money to pay off Pry and the staff, to hire a competent coach and then refill the war chest that said new coach needs to use for the portal?
This season could have turned said ship around but the more we shit the bed, the further it sinks.
If we don't have the money to fix football, then pull all funding and shut the department down and go club sports going forward.
Football is what drives the department. If it fails, it brings everything down with it. You cut as many sports as you have to if it means keeping football alive.
I don't disagree with you that football is the engine to pull the train but we both know the BOV isn't going to nix all of the other sports. That seems very "not-Hokie-like"
Well I am probably out until Monday to cool off. Enjoy the wonderful weather. I am going to use the tracked bobcat to destroy something now.
Now that is some perfect therapy! Can I help?
Didn't see the message in time otherwise sure. I am working on felling, cutting and stacking firewood for the outdoor woodstove and cutting in more walking trails on the property.
Nice! Thanks for the invite. That is some real productivity.
Wife and I are busy with many family n friend visitors over next 3 to 4 weeks and running donated winter supplies to Western NC. So we're pretty slammed.
To all of us: Don't forget our Western NC brethren, they're gonna need us for the next several months
Ehh expected a loss when Drones and Tuten were announced. Glad the guys fought and no major injuries. Hoping for 7-5, which is pretty solid after starting 2-3.
On offense, yes, they fought hard despite their 2nd half mistakes. The defense, however, fought hard but fruitlessly to find the Syracuse guy who had the ball.
Mose being out of position and tackling delane on that slant TD is going to live in my memory for a long time.
Especially since that seemed the most likely play Delane was injured on on top of everything else.
Respectfully - fuck that. It's not solid. We shouldn't have started 2-3.
7-5 is exactly the kind of unacceptable record that we fired Fuente and his buddies over. This was always going to be a "prove it" season for Pry and his staff, and it has been a miserable failure as far as I'm concerned. We may well finish with an even worse record than 7-5, worse than last season, after Pry himself said that anything less than playing for the ACC Championship would be a disappointment.
Well call me disa-fucking-pointed. I refuse to accept mediocrity any longer. I'd rather see us go 1-11 every year than see us perpetually lose 4-5 winnable games due to bush league incompetence. At least then, I could tune out and not care.
Personally, I'd rather watch 7-5 football than 1-11 football. Even if a few Ls are disappointing. I also don't know what firing Pry is going to accomplish. You think Tech has the money for a home run hire? You think the NIL coffers are full enough to start pulling 5 stars? Do you think big city recruits are going to finally start seeing the charm of Blacksburg?
I think in the current, modern day football environment we're in, 7-5 or 8-4 is a good standard.
I also would prefer 7-5 football to 1-11 football but to say that 7-5 is pretty solid this year is a loser's mentality. We returned virtually everyone from last year. We were going into year 3 and the team was starting to look pretty good at the end of last year. The fact we stumbled out of the gate was a huge shock to begin with and then to completely lay down and get abused by Syracuse after a hobbled offense managed to score 31 points is a goddamn disgrace.
Marve needs to go. That is clear. Bowen has some poor moments but he also shows flashes. He's not the ideal OC but I say he's earned the right to stick around. Pry needs to get someone else to help him with the details because his time management and end-of-half decision making is pee-wee levels of bad.
I am not sure if firing Pry is the right move this year. But if he doesn't make any staff changes (particularly wrt Marve) then you can expect another terrible campaign next year, especially since our roster will probably take a step backwards.
I don't think Whit should get another chance to hire a football coach. The Fuente hire was lauded at the time but when things started to look bad he insulted fans instead of forcing Fuente to make the moves that were necessary or showing him the door. Then he goes out and hires a green HC and lets him hire green coordinators. He just doesn't seem to understand what it takes to run a P5 football program.
Pry has failed. He may get one or two more seasons if he makes the hard decision to fire his protege and bring in a DC who knows wtf he's doing and gets himself some proper Jerry Kill type of help. I think it's unlikely Pry does this but I'm willing to at least give him the chance. If we go into 2025 without any staff changes I'll consider Pry's era done and dusted - an utter failure.
The problem is I think from the top-down our football program is full of chicken-shit leadership. Sands doesn't give two fucks about football. Whit has never been around a proper football program. He's done great with other sports but his failures in football have been astronomical and, honestly, that's what really matters. Our BOV seems more interested in trying to replicate what Beamer did in the 80s and 90s when that just isn't the landscape that we're in now. The world has changed. Football has changed. Everything has changed. We can't just click our heels a few times and go back to the early 90s. We need a complete overhaul and we're just not going to get that. This program is stuck in the mud and, frankly, I don't see that changing any time soon.
We could fire Pry. But he's not the biggest problem and firing him would just lead to another chicken-shit hire of some schmuck who talks a big game but can't deliver on the field. We're stuck in this purgatory and until at least Whit (and likely other folks) is gone, that's just what we're going to be for the foreseeable future.
Instead of giving my thoughts on the game, I'm going to get very drunk at this beer fest.
#jealous
It's good to have a plan!
Where is said beer fest?? Stop hogging!
Pry is Franklin. Under performer, out coached in big games, good recruiter, good guy.
Bowen put up 31 with a backup QB and backup RB. Pry not having confidence in him to put points up at the end of the second and end of regulation is awful.
Marve is who I expected him to be. A young DC with no experience and it shows, almost every game. Players out of position, no adjustments in game, etc.
Replace marve and get a real assistant head coach that has real experience (a Jerry Kill type) to help pry get better.
I wish Pry could recruit like Franklin, at least then we'd have a chance to have raw skill win games in the ACC when the scheme sucks
Pry is budget Franklin ft southern twang
This. Pry is discount Franklin.
Everyone on this board wishes Brent Pry was "Franklin". Myself included. I wish. Please give me 10 wins a year and actually landing the best players in the DMV. Yes please.
I think you guys are missing the big picture here.
If we had won the game, can you imagine the QB controversy we would have had? I say we dodged a bullet.
We may be playing Pop if there are any lingering issues!
I mean he did hand that ball off as well as any ball has been handed off in all of football history so he's probably the next coming, no?
LOL, well played
Pop has scored 100% of the time he has touched the field. What other player can say that
Honestly, I am still not sure that shouldn't be a discussion. Schlee had a much nicer touch in throwing the ball than Drones. He actually dropped the long ball into the WR's arms not overthrew him by 3 yards.
My college friend group chat was definitely in the "Schlee should be QB1" camp. There were a couple "Holy shit, we just completed a deep ball" messages when it happened several times.
Drones is the starter because the OL is medicore as French has pointed out. You need a dual threat back there. If Schlee was the regular starter, teams would start to scheme to that and we have a statue back there getting killed.
That was my initial thought as well, but they pointed out Schlee can run as well as throw. He just isn't built like a linebacker like Drones.
I mean Schlee was surprisingly good at the read option on Saturday. His fakes legitimately got defenders to bite and opened up running lanes for him.
His problem was a lack of pocket presence. He was very Glennon-esque out there, with absolutely no internal clock just waiting to get drilled by the pass rush on some of those plays. But how much of that just comes down to lack of game experience vs skill, I don't know
Yes, what you saw was a 5th year kid that had played in real games before. He knew what he was doing. It could have been his shining moment if not for our piss poor defense the second half.
Oh, he still shined, even if the game wasn't a win.
I think schlee has the ability to run similarly. But is not nearly as durable as drones is and our OL would get him killed quickly.
Counter point, if teams dropped more into coverage knowing schlee can actually throw it all of a sudden tuten is averaging 20ypc
"Hey Schlee we know you've played your nuts off for us today and somehow led us to score 31 points, but we don't trust you to move the ball 30 yards in 30 seconds with 3 timeouts. Time to rely on our defense in OT, champ. Sure they've given up 4 TDs in the last 5 Syracuse possessions, but don't worry, everything will be fine."
—Pry probably
Fire Marve today; Pry interim DC; rando off the street to manage the clock in final 2 minutes of each half.
What say you, TKP?
I'm in!
That's the spirit! You got my vote.
Where do I sign?
What have we got to lose, really? What we're currently doing works less than 10% of the time in one score games.
On a serious note, we could miss out on the ACCs 15th bowl slot and those critical 17 practices for the young guys/scout team. Our fans could miss out on freezing their asses off and premium hotel prices.
More importantly, we'd miss out on two weeks of practice, which I'm thinking they could use.
Lose? We ain't losin' with me on the clock.
Yup Marve should be announced as no longer with the team Monday. It won't happen but he absolutely deserves to be fired right now.
Proud of all the players that didn't just phone it in after Tuten and Drones didn't play and almost got a W in the dome. Probably wouldn't have happened 4 years ago.
Something on the coaching staff has to change, not sure what but something has to change. The coaching staff can't get out of their own way in games and it is showing up in the W-L column.
Also fuck injuries and I hope all the players have a quick recovery.
Something the coaching staff could focus on is defensive play calling. Hard to maintain a lead when you give up 5 touchdowns on the last 6 possessions and stay in press man coverage as they run up the middle for 8 ypc
Slept On It:
1) Fire Brent Pry.....no way, shape, or form do we do this. IMO, just stop typing this. Bad move, wrong move.
2) Fire Marve...yes way, shape, or form we do this. IMO, keep typing this. Good move, right move. Question now is when?
3) The backups deserve our admiration and respect. They played like starters.
4) If we won, NO, there shouldn't be a QB controversy. Drones is our starter
5) Negative Vitriol: I think we all have a right to be very angry and fustrated and it certainly showes in this beloved forum. Some were stating how awful the level of has become on a vent and game time thread. During the heat of the moment, and what we were witnessing in the 2nd half of Q3 and beyond, would one expect anything different? To me, justified behavior. It may not be pretty and may show a less than flattering side, but I'm down with any and all expressing themselves this way on TKP
6) For those who said it was too negative and left the threads and ventured onto the I'm Just Going to Hang Here thread. I also totally get it and agree with you. Your move totally justified. And, it's the reason after my last comment, I decided to put my phone down and enjoy the rest of my night with family and friends watching college football and ending it with a fire in the fire pit back home. I took your lead.
7) Summarizing 5 & 6: There is a time and place for both. For those of us who vented last night. Let's keep it there...last night. Let's move on to # 6. Im going to follow that chain.
8) Totally agree the team is better this year even though the W/L doesn't necessarily show it. AND,I would be remiss not to look back at the ACC remaining schedule W/L predictions and acknowledge that my W/L predictions are exactly where they should be at this point and can still end up 7-5 regular, 8-5 post bowl win. So, I vented last night for an isolated event (one game), but need to keep myself in check as my overall is on course.
9) And most importantly...Hey Clone, please don't cancel your TKP subscription. When I read your post asking Joe how to do that, that's when I knew I had to take a step back and put down the phone. PLEASE stay and continue to participate.
Nailed it.
We should fire Marve asap imo. Signals were serious, gives us plenty of time to find right fit. Hardly a net loss Pry can step in and prop up defensive play calling
I mean Pry could just become the DC and we'd run without a HC on game days, no one would notice
My 2 cents on yesterday...
The end of the half is just flat out unacceptable. As a head coach you need to understand the rules and argue your case to the Refs until it's very clear. Why does Pry feel like he has to take TO's into the locker room? He took a timeout after the knee down play, so that still left us with 1. If the Ref's didn't grant him the TO then take it then instead of taking the runoff. It just doesn't make sense. We could've had 7 but at least 3.
We had 3 timeouts when Cuse was putting together that last drive. When it was apparent our D was out coached and they were inside the 20, start using your timeouts!!! Could've been left with at least 90 seconds, possibly more to drive down for a game winning FG. Why take your TO's with you to the end of regulation? It's stupid fucking horse shit. At this point I'm done throwing any money at this program until the current administration proves they have IT. This is straight up garbage coaching by a staff that makes MILLIONS $$ - if I fuck up at work my ass is getting chewed, deservingly so, if I continuously fuck up at work doing the exact same thing, then my ass is canned, deservingly so.
I very much want Pry and Co to be the answer but unfortunately they are lost out there. Getting out coached by a 1st year JV squad coach is unacceptable. I actually feel bad for Bowen, given the situation without both Tuten and Drones he did enough to win but Marve and Pry sucked Donkey ass.
MAJOR props to many of the players that stepped up yesterday, Schlee, Malachi, Coney, Gosnell bros, Lane, DL and even the OL had some good spurts.
I don't even consider it outcoaching on Pry. Brown did nothing that awed me, he just lucked into a comeback. Outclassed in second half between Marve and their OC, sure. Pry outcoached himself. It's the 4th or 5th time this season.
Most of his biggest failures have been him making decisions on his own where the opposing coach had little to no counter involvement.
And one would think with a little humility could insert a simple human resource to assist with clock and time out management and a lot of our fan base consternations go away and we are 7-2 right now worst case.
daveinop is the man for the job!
I am!
Just checking in to see if anyone on the coaching staff was let go this morning...
We're not a serious enough program for mid season staff changes
sad but true
WVU fired their DC after the last game-so can we.
We can but we won't because we're not serious about football
As much as her deserves it, firing Marve at this point doesn't really help the situation.
Pry then has to bear more of the burden of Defensive Playcalling and he's already largely failing at the basics of Head Coaching....it would only be worse.
If nothing happens in the Offeseason, then it will be clear that Pry is clueless or simply doesn't care about winning.
Marve is Pry's Cornelson----hopefully he can understand what his predecessor certainly didn't.
The defense sucks. Has all year. Having said that, if we beat Duke and UVA to go 7-5, I highly doubt Marve will be fired. Maybe we get lucky and another team tries to hire him.
lol FSU was ecstatic when we hired him away...I don't think anyone is in the market for Chris Marve.
Imagine this being the last thing your fan base had to be excited about...
